The woman could have introduced video proof of everything she said, and for a lot of these people it wouldn’t matter. The media and the “establishment” don’t like Cain, so gosh darn it we should nominate him - no matter how unelectable he is!

Not saying what this woman had to say is true, only that Cain’s denials seem more like changing the subject than anything else. If someone goes on TV and flat out accuses you of a pile of lies like this, most innocent people would want to clear their name and specifically address and reject each specific detail of the allegation. Cain appears to be hiding behind a blanket denial without disputing any specifics.

In the end it won’t matter. Cain won’t be the nominee. He wasn’t going to be the nominee before any of these “harassment” claims, and he sure isn’t going to be the nominee now.

For me it is between Perry and Gingrich now. If Perry can’t show me he can communicate better going forward, I am going to default to Gingrich as the best option in a poor field of candidates.

I was impressed with Cain at the Cain/Gingrich campaign. Cain would have the ability to inspire people to achieve. He is a visionary. Newt would work best in the background. He would be a powerful VP.

This whole thing is a sham. I believe the truth will come out and Cain will win the nomination.

Just because a lot of people wish they had been invited to service Rick Perry, doesn't mean that Cain ever requested or demanded such servicing from any women.

Incidentally, have you noticed that many people in the press hate Perry too, but somehow it never occurs to you to attribute support for Perry to knee-jerk anti-media reaction?

Save a pretzel for the gas jets!

Cheers!

Yes, trade an accused adulterer for a proven adulterer. of course, Gingrich is more “qualified”, but as adultery goes, going from Cain to Gingrich is going from the frying pan into the fire. And Perry is just the worst. Comically low favorable/unfavorables on Perry. How about Buddy Roemer? He was a Governor, and not strongly hated by anywhere near as many as Perry.
