That was precisely the (non)solution offered by many here on FR for dealing with the character assassination of Sarah Palin. Just abandon her wounded on the field of battle. The Cain saga demonstrates the utter foolishness of that approach. Obama, ultimately, is behind this, clearing the ballot as he likes to do. No serious conservative should cooperate with such evil, and those here who do have well earned our distrust.
