Newt is brilliant but erratic. Cain brings maturity, focus and wisdom. I think the two together are more formidable then their individual parts. However I feel a whole lot better with Cain holding the reigns.

Cain has the leadership skills Newt lacks. Newt knows how to manage the DC political machine way better then Cain. Cain would keep Newt focused on Conservative principals, Newt would get things done.

The ‘pundits’ say Herman Cain needs Foreign Policy experience. Hell, Foreign policy experts are dime/dozen in DC and time has shown that Cain is a quick study!
