That one felt bigger here in south OKC than yesterdays.
A 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck in Oklahoma late on Saturday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey said, toppling chimneys, damaging buildings and sending some people to hospitals with minor injuries.

I don’t live there .. just news searching.
No major injuries were reported, but the quake caused at least three sections of U.S. Route 62 to buckle, said Aaron Bennett of the Lincoln County 911 and emergency management.
A boulder rolled into a rural county road, blocking it.
Crews also reported some structural damage, including a roof collapse and a damaged ventilation system in a municipal building.
“They’re reporting that all the houses look like they’ve been ransacked,” Bennett said of the assessment crews.
At least one person was taken to a hospital in Prague with minor injuries, he said.
The man hit his head against a wall when he tripped and fell while trying to run out of his house, Bennett said.

Strange that you are in FW and felt the quake, while I’m in Grapevine (NE of you) and didn’t feel a thing. I haven’t read any postings of others in the DFW area feeling the quake, other than you.
Why not? Runs through Memphis. Not really that far away.
Arlington is the only other post on this thread that I've read that felt it. I haven't read the others. However, Facebook friends/family in Arkansas, Missouri, and around Texas from about Dallas to Wichita Falls felt it.
It's so strange to me that we're 200 miles away and felt it. There was no mistaking what it was.
“Two natural gas companies agreed Friday to temporarily cease operations of injection wells in an area of central Arkansas that has seen more than 800 earthquakes during the past six months. “
I would have told them to go pound sand.
I thought I felt it here in the Permian Basin but I suspect it was the Charizzo and bean burrito’s.
That seems pretty big for a non-West Coast US quake, IMO.
Felt it in Tulsa. It was very strong It just kept going and I started getting concerned. My friend said it was the Angels jumping up and down because of the OSU win.
LOL
