Just to substantiate my comment about Perry getting beat in his own home state of Texas, I am including a very recent link detailing 1 poll of many showing the trend.

Perry's recent stumbles appear to have hurt his standing even in his own back yard.

I will say two things. First, I care little about polls at this point. Second, I doubt he will lose Texas if he is still in the race when they have their primary.
