Republican 2012 presidential candidates Republican 2012 presidential candidates Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich met in a Lincoln-Douglas style debate on current economic and social issues facing the U.S.
YES, 8:00PM your time!
By the time I’m done eating and drinking, I can’t do dessert!! Not even on the holidays!
I don't see it on C-Span listing on my Dish guide, maybe they didn't update the guide listings????
Yes....yes they did (wink) =).
Per C-SPAN’s article, here’s the link:

Don’t shoot me if it’s wrong.
Ask the Admin. Moderator to insert the start time of the debate:
8:00PM EDT, 7: CDT 5:PDT C-SPAN1
8/7 Central 5:Pacific - CSPAN1
And apparently this will be the link for the REPLAY, in case anyone misses it Live:

Again, the above link is for the REPLAY, not the LIVE show.
This is/was the Live link:

C-Span Newt/Cain debate Highlights:
a 90 minute debate hosted by the Texas Patriots PAC. There is no moderator and the two candidates discuss and respond to each others positions on domestic policy in The Woodlands, TX.
The debate is divided into three parts, with each part focusing on one entitlement program Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
“Im really looking forward to seeing a real debate debate where ideas are the focus.”
I sooooooooooooooooooo agree.
Well, I’ve been planning the Thanksgiving menu today, so my mind is on food! ;)
I’m not interested in a civil discourse. I’d like to hear a real debate.
The debate will only cover domestic policy, current economic and social issues, according to c-span.
Please add me to the ping list!
There’s hockey on as well.
Ok...Thanks Onyx....Who has the actual c-span number...1,2, or 3?
I have saved three links just in case I loose one I can quickly come back...last time I mistakenly x’d out the feed and spent to dang long trying to get it back up....I missed some good stuff!
Okey Dokey
This is a big plus for me that Mr. Cain is the only candidate to take on the challenge of Newt.
The rest of the candidates can cry foul when they don't do well on MSM debates yet won't go one-on-one.
This shows true grit for Herman Cain - and I LIKE IT!
GOOD LUCK HERMAN!
A REAL debate should be conducted with civil discourse.
;-)
