Republican 2012 presidential candidates Republican 2012 presidential candidates Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich met in a Lincoln-Douglas style debate on current economic and social issues facing the U.S.
LOL.... Normally when I watch debates, I find myself looking for a mixed drink... I don’t drink anymore. LOL
Nite all...from deep in the heart of Texas :)
Not lying, just seemed like ten times.
And not very clever the first time.
Media attacked Cain as stupid. It got nowhere,so they attacked him for no experience, That didnt work because he has more experience than hope-y change-y did. They said he wasn’t black, but he is blacker than the mixed race messiah. They said he is a racist, forgetting their own rule that blacks can’t be racist. They called him an uncle tom, but that didn’t stick, so they went with the “over-sexed black man” that always works....and since it isn’t working, they are sticking with it hoping that if they repeat the lie often enough it will stick.
I really liked this debate because of the maturity displayed.
There was no fighting among the two candidates, they seemed to like each other.
However, Perry ( in the last debate), helped drop the debate to a low level because he is too dumb to debate on the issues.
He is dumb, dumb, dumb.
He could not even give a decent answer to the illegal immigration issue- and called his base heartless- the epitome of stupidity.
I could not trust him to run this country.
Obama will clean his clock if they debated. Cain and Gingrich did well, and could take on Obama and win.
disagree, respectfully.
cain can take care of himself.
I think Cain and Newt have pretty effectively voted Perry off the Island and now they are going to go to work on Mitt.
Which is why you two spent all night talking about other people.
On points, and Newt impressed me with most of his answers. Cain was and is superior on Reagan-like qualities.
THANK YOU for the clarification!
I thought all the candidates were invited.
Guess the rest of the crowd didn’t want their poll numbers to go any lower.
I respect Herman Cain for showing up after the h*ll he has gone through the past two weeks! Herman was Presidential all the way. Just shows the man can take the stress of personal attacks, handle them, and move on to the most important thing he wants to accomplish - Saving our Country for Socialist/Marxists.
I agree...and Newt can handle the press...Cain not so well unfortunately as he's just not up to par in that area yet...he's got to let it roll off and be selective in who and what the media wants from him...and know what not to give them to run with. Palin learned, but not til very late along the way...Cain doesn't have that time...he needs to know right now...he's sounding like Palin did once she got it the media was out to nail her...CAin's not there yet but he will be...when is the question...but currently it isn't yet.
Carl,I’m not a Perry person. I genuinely thought that was a funny line. Maybe you meant to respond to the person who made the comment to me.
Right.
Cain's is the leading candidate.
Oh my goodness. I didn't remember the name and had to quickly google it. I remember those skits!
Yeah, I think Cain is a controlled image type, whereas Newt is an established details man. Cain makes a good President, Newt would be an excellent VP, especially in controlling a Senate with a possible 50/50 Democrat/Republican mix.
I only hope this country survives long enough to utterly destroy and redefine the liberal idea of America.
America is not based on financial equality - it is based on equal opportunity.
NICE!! I will sign up for his PING list as well
I’ll tell ya what, I won’t be offended if you don’t read them, nor if you don’t post back to me.
Good way of calling it Georgia...though Perry did a fabulous job of jumping ship...;)
