I said from the first that the charges the women made were probably inconsequential.
But the women did say something. They said something about Cain that was at least serious enough to be given a year’s pay and asked to leave or else left of their own accord.
I mean, there is a record of all that and it isn’t anonymous... it just isn’t available to you now.
I do not blame the women at this point in their lives for not subjecting themselves to the abuse and possible danger they would face by exposing themselves. Some of them may have cats.
I got smacked with a sex-harassment charge in 1994. Want to know why? I was in charge and rebuffed a womans advances. It is still on the books. My Company saw her out the door as well. Get over it, it happens.
