Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. Theres only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.
Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.
The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can take it away next November.
The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. Whats going on with that?

It is called cheery picking: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/president_obama_vs_republican_candidates.html
I just watched a piece on Sam Houston.
I would love to see your spin in that man.
I harbor little ill will towards Gov. Perry, but I am beginning to think you are right.
Perrys perceived flaws have to do with people not understanding the reality of the border.
Heck yeah, he’s always the underdog. The Texas press wrote him off in 2009. They said since Kay Bailey Hutchison had all of the Bushies like Karl Rove behind her, Perry would never win. Plus, he’s been governor for too long, they said. He knocked it out of the park in that race!
On the same thought, the Texas press wrote off the 2011 legislative session. They said that Perry could never balance the budget without raising taxes. Perry proved them wring, but took a beating in the press, especially from the teachers organizations. But he won one for the people of Texas.
Perry is one tough campaigner. Watch the polls rise!
I sure hope so!
Perry has the record of achievement. I really want to see a POTUS who doesn't change his positions like a windsock. It would be such a lost opportunity to see a POTUS who protects the bureaucracy and liberalism (Romney), or one who is so inept he can't get anything done (Cain).
We should gain control of the Senate as well as keep control of the House. A POTUS who will listen to the conservatives vs. the party first "govt is good when we are in control" crowd will determine where this country goes (more govt control over everything in our lives or less). We know what crowd Romney is in. I think Cain is so inept that even if he is not in that govt is good crowd he will be easily manipulated by them.
Um... I’m HERE in Wisconsin. I’m a Wisconsin voter, and I’m in contact with our local Tea Party as well.
I’m well aware of the tone within the state. I wouldn’t take too much stock in this poll, seriously... And, I’m not saying that to be mean.
Yes, I always prefer cheery posts to grumbly ones too. ;)
You’re babbling again.
Texans, as a whole nuther country really don’t care who hates or loves them.
We’d just like to see ALL states as healthy and vibrant as we are. It’s sickening to see what liberalism has done to toxify our Sister States. We cured the disease and we’d love to share the vaccine with the other 49.
Didn’t realize that Wisconsin was a bellweather state.
I was just saying the other day that the way to fix the border is to build a fence north of Texas.
Yall pay for it and yall deal with it, just leave us the hell alone.
Are you proposing a mandatory vaccine?!! /s

Just keep on purifying your state, and if y’all don’t need to vote for Perry, fine with me.
That is quite a source LoL
Interesting. All part of La Raza Rick’s plan to give Texas to Mexico.
