Rick Perry beats Obama in Rasmussen Wisconsin poll
Examiner ^ | November 4, 2011 | Lorraine Yapps Cohen

Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. There’s only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.

Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.

The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can ‘take it away’ next November.

The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. What’s going on with that?

Every time he opens his goofy mouth he turns folks off

Actually, he repels them.

It's gotten to the point that I'm beginning to believe a few Perry advisers actually want him to lose. They may be capitalists who are willing to make a buck by working for his campaign, but they're also patriots who know Rick Perry would be terrible for America.

What are Mr Cains accomplishments?

He ran a crappy pizza place that sells rice flour crust? Did he create the burger king?

You comment is very insightful!

I just saw this somewhere else which kind of goes into what you just said.

Even in a state that went for Barack Obama big time in 2008, Rick Perry is resonating with the voters there!

Excerpt:

Barack Obama carried Wisconsin easily in the 2008 presidential election, but he is slightly behind Texas Governor Rick Perry and runs just ahead of two other top Republican hopefuls in Rasmussen Reports’ first Election 2012 look at the Badger State.

Perry earns 46% support from Likely Wisconsin Voters to Obama’s 42% in a new statewide telephone survey. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and another six percent (6%) are undecided.

I think it is beyond that, but I do get tired of all the perrywinkle spin, if you stand on your head and close one eye and grunt you can plainly see he said this.,Not let's pass out visas to all the illegals and make them none deportable, but they will still be illegal. Takes about a quart of 10 year old wild turkey to think anyone would buy that BS.

Perry does what he is told. Morons often succumb to that fate.

Perry as Boss Hawg?

I think he's more closely compared to Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane, though Coltrane is definitely smarter.

Perry’s faults have to do with the fact that he’s a stumblebum with no substance to him. He’s polling fifth of sixth nationally and his decline is well deserved. Why can’t you see the moron in him like the rest of republicans do?

He would not. Perry had a lengthy interview with Hannity the other night. I have it tivo’d. My husband just wanted to watch it, so I watched it again with him.

Perry was great.

He answered every question and every allegation fully and honestly and was charming and open.
