Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. Theres only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.
Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.
The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can take it away next November.
The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. Whats going on with that?

You are correct and thank you for your service to our country.
myLife— Keep it coming. Eventually the real facts about Rick Perry will get through the FR miasmas.
I have lived here for over 20 years and I have come to appreciate the way Texas is and the way Texans are.
I did not understand it at first.
I felt the Independence immediately, but I was confused by some things at first.
Texas is on the front lines, la frontera.
I have always liked living on the border and the animated contest that comes with it.
Rick Perry is about shutting the drug cartels down and controlling the border then relaxing with an enchilada and a little guacamole salad.
Nice talkin points! LoL
People have forgotten the adage ‘still waters run deep’ and seem to expect a candidate to yak his head off the whole campaign.
Perry isn’t campaigning. He’s building a massive ground game and already weakening the admin. He’ll start talking once he’s made enough commie kills to throw on the table for inspection.
Thank you.
I have been to this rodeo before.
Maybe, Maybe not.
I just speak my heart.
Amen
Yes, they are. And your candidate is STILL a moron.
Yeah, bless your little pointy head. ‘Moron’. What state are you from again?
Easy enough to find out.
Did you catch Perry’s last flub when he confused the word “anecdote” with “antidote”?
Rick Perry has become the most successful Gov in America.
Governors have to keep the peace among disparate groups of people and a good Gov does that while shaping policy that is conservative.
Hows that working out in New Yawk?
There are things I like about NY (the food and the fingerlakes) but those taxes and BS regulations are something I cant abide.
I would rather sleep in the woods in a hollow log than stay there and be treated like a dog.
Can you believe these buffoons are wasting JimRob’s bandwith pimping for a single-digit loser ?
Actions speak louder than words. Apparently you are a words junkie. Fine.
I hope the LSM keeps on viewing him as impossible like some good FReepers here. He can operate under the radar as a nobody for months.
I think you will be very pleased with what he’s doing silently under the water when the results are known.
Someone should give him a breathalyzer, or an inhalator...

Hey, Billy, get a load of this one.
“Perry will get slaughtered by Obama in the debates.”
“Absolutely. It is my first and only reason for switching away from Perry, who I initially supported.”
==
This is “absolutely” incorrect. I hope you will re-consider your current perception.
In a debate with Obama, there will be two people on the stage, and policy and RECORD compared. Perry can stand toe-to-toe with Obama and WIN on his record. Nobody else has a positive record to compare with Obama’s dismal one.
Cain is Obama in 2008 — all promises, no record. Most people understand that the issue is job creation, not who is the best motivational speaker. And Perry has a record on that, as well as a record of leadership, low taxes, low regulations and yes, strong on border security.
In the general election Cain would collapse. He is making gaffes left and right, the media isn’t pursuing it, until the general election. One example is the electric fence, no I was only joking, no I wasn’t joking. And there are a lot of other similar ones.
Interesting. His message is starting to resonate in a difficult state. Great news.
Yes, I can. It’s incessant. And all they want to do is brag about Texas and put down the rest of the United States. Strange.
