When the Capital visitors Center was opened they did not have the national motto in there. In fact, they inscribed in the stones that our national motto was 'E pluribus unum.'"
A speech President Obama gave last year in Jakarta, Indonesia, he stated that the motto was instead E Pluribus Unum, Latin for Out of many, one.
Obama keeps pushing the collective verse individual responsibility.

Voting present were Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN). . . . Maybe he would have voted for it if it said "In Allah we trust."

The galling thing to me is that this is not a matter of religious loyalty it is a matter of national tradition, history and patriotism.
Even if it were a matter of religious loyalty they are supposed to represent their constituents not their personal feelings. Scumbags all!

So militant muslim Keith Ellison voted present. Could it be that he’s concerned about the reaction of his constituents?
