So what crime did Cain commit? None

Why are we calling it sexual harassment? there was none

Why are we hounding and attacking Cain over a non crime with no facts that allegedly happened 15 years ago?

What does any of it have to do with the mess our country is in?

So far, I have yet to hear anything remotely resembling proof in these “allegations”. We have unnamed women who were paid off in sexual harassment complaints against Cain. So what? Just because they were paid off doesn't mean anything. It's cheaper to pay them off than fight them in court. Business decision. Who are these women? What were the complaints? Don't know. The Statist reporters assure us it was serious. Sure.

Then there's some other unnamed woman who felt harassed, but decided not to file a complaint. What was her name? Don't know. Statist reporters won't tell me. Then I heard a tape of some unknown guy calling a radio show in Oklahoma telling the host he had witnessed the harassment, and it was serious, and would end Cain's campaign when all was revealed. When asked by the host to detail what happened, he refused. Just said how serious it was. Don't know this guy's name, just another anonymous guy, making another anonymous accusation.

Cain must terrify the establishment, because they are out to get him. I have been looking for the guy who's not an insider company man, who will sellout to the Big Government machine the day after the election. Maybe it's Cain.

Probably was a hit in the planning to prop up a sagging candidate.

Ahem...Do not forget the Arizona Coordinator for Rick Perry 2012 tweeted this little tidbit 4 days before the Politico story broke...

I wanted to like Perry. Alas, the more national exposure he gets, the less I like what I see.

I guess I’ll have to throw him in “No way in hell I’ll vote for him” pool with Romney.

I hope an Attorney will correct me in my errors here, as I’m sure I don’t have this right. (But that never stopped me from posting before, so....)

It’s my understanding that there are certain required elements in order for it to be the legal definition of sexual harassment.

For instance, doesn’t the person doing the harassing have to be in a position of authority and power over the person being harassed? “You won’t get that promotion unless you sleep with me.” That kind of thing?

I have a hard time understanding how something that happened in a public setting (restaurant) could fit this legal definition. I can see how a man could say/do something that makes a woman uncomfortable or steps over the line while in a public setting. But the proper way to handle that is to say, “I don’t find that humorous and wish you would please stop.” Or simply get up and leave the table/restaurant.

I don’t see where Greta is getting that from, other than that he was a source in a story that Politico wrote about him today. But even in that story, which was updated as recently as almost 6 PM tonight, Politico expressly said,

“The pollster requested that POLITICO make clear that he has not shared this story with any of his clients and that he was not the source for the original story Sunday on the two women who complained about Cain at the association.”

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67473.html#ixzz1cbO6DTyN

This is very disingenuous on Greta’s part, and I hope not part of her helping her husband, who has appeared with Cain “as a friend”.

Just remember, it was the Romney campaign that was cheerleading the release of the information and pushing for more juicy stuff.

except politico says he was not the source.

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67473.html

Wilson is a Rick Perry supporter and does polling for a Super PAC that supports the Texas governor's presidential bid.

The pollster requested that POLITICO make clear that he has not shared this story with any of his clients and that he was not the source for the original story Sunday on the two women who complained about Cain at the association.

Even if this guy is the source so what? Cain is the one who is lying and making stuff up on an hourly basis on this issue. It is Cain who is the problem here and not this source of the leak. Also what is funny are all those Perry haters who are now telling us that they are scratching Perry of their list as if they were for Perry. Go and fool someone else fools. Your guy Cain is caught red handed, a dirty old fool.

However I am sure that even if he was proved to have murdered someone it would not impact your support toward him because you guys are cultists and not supporters. You follow him because like drug addicts you need you hourly dose of red meat empty sticker rhetoric and he is giving you plenty of it and because you want to stick it to the establishment or whatever straw man enemy you come up with. Nominate Cain the fool and dirty old man and we are going to get a Christine O'Donnell on a national level.

Politico scores a two-fer.

They smear Cain and Perry in one story.

Check out the email I ( assume the I is Greta, not sure) just received from my FNC colleague Lexi Stemple. It looks like the Gov Perry campaign is getting madder by the minute…see below:

For anyone following the Cain sexual harassment story…

I just got an email from Perry Comm Dir, Ray Sullivan pushing this updated, harsher response to Mark Block’s claims on SR.

———————-

Email from Ray Sullivan:

HIS CHARGE IS BOTH RECKLESS AND FALSE. For a candidate and campaign that claim to be the victims of unfounded and unproven accusations, they are awfully quick to hurl unfounded accusations themselves. Contrary to the Cain campaign’s false accusations, there is not one shred of evidence that any member of the Perry team had anything to do with the recent stories regarding Herman Cain — because it isn’t true.

And while hurling unfounded accusations may serve as a temporary distraction from Mr Cain’s ongoing troubles, we hope we can all get on with the serious business of issues and selecting the best candidate to defeat Barack Obama.

Don’t worry Fox is editing out the stupid comments of Block today.Fox is doing their best to save their credibility for giving Cain all that free advertising./S

This is just plain vetting.

Would it have been better to come out in the General Election???

It's not the fault of Perry, Romney or anyone else.

I think Perry’s about to quit anyway, he just looks like he has had enough. He’ll throw his support to McRomney, hoping for the VP slot. In the end I think it will be Cain vs McRomney. I’d be happy with Cain/Bachman, happier with Cain/Ryan. Cain will need someone with government experience as a VP. Please no Newt. He’s got way too much baggage and would drag down a ticket. His time has come and gone.
