Texas Gov. Rick Perry may have slipped badly in recent weeks of polling, but he's doing the best of any Republican presidential candidate attracting political contributions from females.
According to a new study by the Center for Responsive Politics, Perry is receiving a little more than a third of his donations (33.5%) above $200 from women. Former Sen. Rick Santorum is second with 32.3%.
About 27.5% of all political contributions to Republican presidential candidates have come from women, according to the Center study.

And yesterday someone told CW to stop posting Perry stuff and go do the dishes. I believe these are examples of Perry supporters spewing venom while Cain supporters are engaging in enlightened discussion. ;)
“and go do the dishes” how sad is that?
To think it’s insulting to women, means you have read something into it that is not stated. Which actually says a lot about YOU.
But this from the 2010 Texas election and Perry support:
“The Texas poll didn’t focus on why the women prefer Perry, and interviews with poll respondents showed that reasons varied widely, ranging from religious views to the economy.
Among Perry’s female supporters is Monica Otis, 52, a real estate agent in Farmers Branch, who said she thinks of him as a conservative, straightforward, hardworking person.
“Bottom line, I think he’s a better candidate,” Otis said. “I’m more in line with his expressed beliefs,” such as curbing state spending.”...

I agree. FR is becoming rather testy and rude these days.
At the local level women run the Republican Party. In Texas Republican women’s groups are all over the place. They are extremely informed and painfully pragmatic when it comes to candidates. The notion that they are supporting Perry based on his looks as some have inferred here is simply wrong. They know the candidates and they know the issues. In fact, the direction Republican women go is the direction the party goes.
Because of this the issue Cain has with harassment is very serious. It is the reason whoever generated the story did so. The best way to kick the legs out from under a candidate in the Republican Party is to drive a wedge between them and Republican women.
It almost looks like Cain is ticking off a list.
Blacks
Hispanics
Women
Of course Perry is going to get the most donations from the women. He’s got the nicest hair. It’s a fact of life.
Yep, all of these questions from a sexist pig.
On a positive note, you are consistent and don’t disappoint.
Women tend toward better looking, stronger types in politics. Ideologues tend toward “outsider” candidates even when said candidate is horrible. Religion voters tend to vote religion first. These are all different levels of shallowness that we witness on this very forum. They are all essentially the same.
Present company may be excluded,
women’s general consensus is that men are driven by “one thing”...
but you see that, when picking a leader (ie, protector, provider, etc) in a politician, women generally support the “better looking” guy.
1 Cor 11:19...
Only an insecure man would believe that.
Perry is all hat.
Many women like that.
They don’t look beyond appearances.
Liberal white women make the vote...no question..largest leftist voting bloc
ah... trying to avoid a truth with an insult.
Plenty of historical evidence with Kennedy, Clinton, etc.
Its also why good looking guys get elected president. LOL!!!
ah, but a couple of posts up, Cinn's Wife declared that anyone who thought that was an "insecure man"...
yeah and it’s women clawing each other’s eyes out
they were just as bad about Sarah Plain who didn’t run anyhow...all that blood and worship over nothing...all for naught
but if you told them then you thought she might not run say in August then out came the claws and the lust for Jim to come in with the beloved bolt so they could get off like little high school girls as anyone they had it nin for just might get zotted
this primary has degenerated into pure silliness here
mediocre candidates across the board and folks here behaving so petty and cultish
I prefer the old days here ...prior to 2005......I prfer the old days to everything...except medical care
at least on other candidates you can say about anything...even if stupid..like was Perry drunk or something silly about Cain
only one of these I cotton to ideologically is Bachmann but she is done...
I wish we had a heavyweight...Obama is such damaged goods
I knew you couldn’t make a substantive refutation,
thanks for the confirmation.
LOL
You’re welcome.
