Good grief. First off, for the umpteenth time, I’ve said I don’t support Romney. Repeat after me, I don’t support Romney.

Got it? Good.

HOWEVER, if he is the nominee then I will support him. I hope you can understand the difference, but it seems you cannot. So let me try again. IF IF IF he is the nominee, then I will support him over Obama.

I don’t see that as a violation of conservative principles at all. I have no doubt in my mind if Ronald Reagan himself was in this nomination process there would be hordes of people here screaming he wasn’t conservative enough.

At the end of the day, I don’t want Obama to get another 4 years. If Romney is the nominee, I will support him in an effort to make sure Obama doesn’t get 4 more years. You are free to vote for someone else as is anyone else here. But if you do, ask yourself if you are better off in the process. Are you better off having a 100% liberal socialist like Obama or someone that may not espouse all of your views or maybe even half your views, but espouses certainly many more than Obama.

That may be what it comes down to. I’ve made my decision, and that decision is not to vote for Obama and to vote for the only other candidate that can win...which will be the GOP nominee. A 3rd party candidate cannot win in this country and a vote there is a wasted vote that guarantees Obama 4 more years.

Very Christian of you with the drag queen comments....talk about hypocrisy...you’re a poster child.

"I’ve said I don’t support Romney.

Your continual rehashing of the "IF" argument proves otherwise since he has not locked in the nomination, you're secretly cheer leading from behind the closet door

"Very Christian of you with the drag queen comments....talk about hypocrisy...you’re a poster child."

Wow, now you're dragging religion into this, how liberal of you.

I respect your logic for not supporting Romney, but supporting him if he gets the nomination. I did the same thing for McCain last year.

But here is the problem. The GOP E knows this. So, they take us for granted and do what they can (just watch FoxNews and Rove) to eliminate all conservatives.

So, I think it is beneficial for the GOP E to understand that if they choose to foist Romney on us and thus give us Obama, we will survive.

Romney will never beat Obama, he doesn’t have the ObamaCare issue and he will be on the defensive against a multitude of serious flip flops and liberal positions such as abortion, global warming, gay marriage, RomneyCare.
