By their comments on the page, looks like being pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-constitution, pro-limited government, pro-liberty is an extreme position for the readers of Fox News Nation. Strange, it matches up pretty closely to the official GOP party platform. People with these views used to be called patriotic Americans.

Well guess we'll just have to be happy as gun-toting, bible-thumping, bitterly clinging extremists. I've been called worse. Karl Rove, FOX & Co, can shove their RINO du jour where the sun don't shine!!

You go, Jim! You are right about Romney.

His supporters use dirty rotten tactics. I think they are in cahoots with Politico and behind the current smear campaign against Herman Cain.

Banning people is a bad idea. Abuse of power really.

http://www.nationaljournal.com/2012-presidential-campaign/gop-strategist-charlie-black-we-don-t-need-a-palin-on-the-ticket-20111101

“No need for Conservative VP like Palin veteran party strategist Charlie Black says, because the candidates are already conservative enough.”

“We don’t have any moderates running,” Black said. “I don’t think there will be any need to do philosophical balance.”

The GOP liberal elite is simply stupid if they think we will believe that crap!

” Robinson admitted “

Admitted? That is a term usually used when someone is trying to hide something. Don’t believe his NRA ( No Romney Allowed ) policy was something he was hiding.

Its been a known fact for anyone willing to take a look around the place.

You’re proud to be heralded for banning posters?

Terrific...

Good job Jim. Romulus supporters can click on Toyko Rove’s site, or Romulus’s site. They are both one and the same.

A dark day for FR.

I know you claim to be against homo sex, but since The IncreasinglyLessFreeRepublic’s tent now only fits the two of us, I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable. (...wait...what the... that had better have been the tent zipper...going down!)

What the hell are people supposed to post if Romney wins the nomination?

And what the hell are we people who like to reason and debate supposed to do once we all are either coerced or winnowed into agreement?

Seriously, it is time for a name change: ‘The Robinson Republic’ has a ring to it.

FreeRepublic has itself become false advertising.

(No, I don’t support Romney. I also do not have an irrational fear of him.)

How ironic that a site dubbed "Free Republic" doesn't allow freedom of opinion.

This opinion is an example of libtard anarchic concept of freedom. This is the belief of libtards disrupters that they should be allowed to say any thing at all even if it is against the will of the owner of the property.

You know, I tend to expect the Dems and MSM to tell us who should or will be the Republican candidate, and ignore them.

When the GOP establishment tries to tell us who it’s going to be, THAT pisses me off to no end!

Hey, Rove, stop shoving your RINO’s on us!

PolUtico is Bamsters personal lapdog and FoxNation is all in for Myth.

They certainly dish it out, but cannot take it.

Good on you, JR! And, God bless FR!

I don’t get why anyone bitches about it. It’s your site. I think it’s good that you are open about your editorial positions. It’s no mystery.

Considering the WHINE coming from the mittbot trolls in this thread, should I add the keyword “Bugzapper” to give them a hint?
Or shall we leave it a surprise?

The Tea Party did not rise up for Romneycare, political correctness and to have corrupt international elitists continue passing out pork to foreign pals, politicians and corporations.

We want a constitutional government where the rights and power of the people and the States are protected and respected. It's called the rule of law and applies even to those in Washington.

If that is extreme, screw ‘em. Socialism is unconstitutional and repugnant.

I can’t see how anyone could support Romney and call themselves conservative. We don’t all think in lockstep certainly, and I am by no means a one issue voter, but Romney is nothing but a pawn of the liberal political establishment. He is a career politician driven by his love for power — not his love for country.

Thank you, Jim Rob. I find it amusing that some of the complainers describe the FR tent as getting too small ... at post two-hundred fifty something!

I am a Cain supporter who encourages civility with the Perry and Bachmann etc. folks. Even the Perry supporters who are less than civil bring up legitimate points.

I have found too many Romney supporters to be disingenuous in their approach, in part because of this site’s attitude towards him, but also because of natural inclination. So, instead of having an honest argument or heated discussion, one has to suspect dishonesty and manipulation. This causes a hair-trigger reaction regarding others who are not Romney supporters, but have decided that it is better to go with RINOs (construed narrowly) than Dems in all cases.

Any one who believes in private property knows that it is next to impossible to have an abuse of power in your own castle. We are here at your sufferance, and happy to be so.

Personally, I'd rather kick their asses in debates to convert the undecided, but that's not my call to make.

Anybody but Romney in the primary.

I have been getting my news first hand and unfiltered from freerepublic since the Kuwait invasion by IRAQ. Your views are the mirror image of mine and I belive this website is the last bastion of freedom loving Americans and freedom loving people around the world. Keep up the good work. It is time for all of us to get off the sidelines.

I am humbled by your willingness to stand in the gap until those like me will rally to your side. I have been a lurker and am now forced to step out of the shadows. I am contributing today! God bless you and your commitment to Our country, Our Constitution, and Our freedoms!

Turn off the TV and turn out to public events, write your congressmen, whatever it takes (with civil discourse but determination) to reclaim our nation and our government so that “of the people, by the people, and for the people, shall not perish”.
