Turns out Noah's Ark was an ufo
And? I hope they did not spend too much money figuring that out. It’s been known for decades, and anyone with a brain could have figured it out without even checking.
When I was on the order of 7 years old or so, I learned that jupiter, saturn and venus all have hydrocarbon atmospheres.
Complex “organic” molecules.
This is bad (junk) science. Somebody is trolling for $$$$.
prove it is not true....that is the scientific method. proving it is true is religion.
They’re making a big deal about finding PAH’s (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons).
Well, unless you use a high-efficiency incinerator, you get PAH’s to some extent pretty much anytime you burn anything. So it’s not like you need a complex living organism (or even a penny-ante living organism) to get PAH’s - you just need a source of carbon, a source of hydrogen, and high temperatures.
Shouldn’t be too tough to find those in regions in space where stars are forming.
Velikovsky also thought that electromagnetic forces might somehow play a greater role to counteract gravity and orbital mechanics. One idea is a scenario where stars are powered not by internal nuclear fusion, but by galactic-scale electrical discharge currents. If he is right, unforeseen galactic discharges could trigger a sequence resulting in oil raining down on Earth. (Hopefully not in the middle east next time!)
