If Hillary were to usurp power from Obama, Cain might pull 50%-60% of the African American vote against Hillary. Not a chance. People need to drop the fantasy that blacks are going to vote Republican. 90% are going to keep right on voting Democrat for at least another generation or more (probably more). Democrats are the party that hands out the goodies. The black community may be filled with a lot of ignorance, but they know who signs their checks - and who always promises to increase the handouts. Cain would not do much better than any of the other Republican candidates.

Nonsense. They would cross and vote for Cain.

Recent experience of black conservatives supports your assertion. Black conservative candidates have bombed in almost every election such as Ken Blackwell in Ohio and Michael Steele in Maryland. Herman Cain may perform better if he can withstand the overwhelming attacks by the left. I think that most blacks will view Herman Cain about the same way that they view Clarence Thomas, a traitor to their race.

True, blacks are not going to vote for a Black GOP candidate, no more then Democratic Women are going to vote for a GOP woman candidate.

As a black person I take great exception to that statement that you made.
