Nonsense. They would cross and vote for Cain.
My opinion is that most would stay home. Which isn’t a bad option.
And your evidence for this other than wishful thinking? The facts are that black Republicans pretty much do just as awful as any other Republican in the black community. From Ken Blackwell to Michael Steele to Lynn Swann, the black community flat out does not support black Republicans. They vote Democrat. Period. There is no reason on earth to think Cain would do any better. These people hate pretty much all black conservatives with a passion. Ever heard how blacks talk about Clarence Thomas or Condi Rice on black radio? Listen some time, as another poster said - blacks consider black conservatives to be race traitors.
Some would, but certainly not a majority. What percentage of slaves ran (or tried to run) away from the plantations, back in the 1800s?

“Nonsense. They would cross and vote for Cain.”
Wanna bet??
I know and work with a few black folks and nice as can be but to a tee, they all say they wouldn’t vote for Cain because he doesn’t understand their struggles.
We have seen a election between a black conservative and a white liberal( maryland senate race 2006) and the black voters overwhelmingly voted for the white liberal.
The idea that black voters would leave the Dem plantation to vote for a black conservative is fantasy at best.
