This dumba*& makes THIRTEEN MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR, plus benefits, bonuses and endorsements.
Yet, he hasn't redistributed HIS INCOME 'Fairly', has he?
The hypocrites in the media are already beginning the full-on Obama propaganda for 2012.

$ 13,000,000.00 a year and at least a month off a year. You should donate Matt a huge percentage to the unemployed at the New York Times to be fair.
How much does a NBC cameraman make compared to you, Matt.

I would love nothing better than to see these wealthy commies end up dirt poor.

When Lauer refers to the rich, he means: “Those other rich people, not me.”

All reporters should have their salaries capped at $200,000.
How's that for a starter, Matt Lauer, you fatuous dope?

Matt probably pays more for his girl(boy?)friend’s bikini waxes than the average worker makes.

Matt’s concern for the “unfairness of the system” extends only until the commercial break for the next segment.

Matt needs to re-distribute NOW. He needs to move into his closest government housing in NY and “give back” 90% to his new community. That is if his lilly white butt can live that long.

A fine example of the "Law of Intended Consequences".
The Pelosi Democrats and Obama have been trying to screw "rich, white people" since 2006. (And they HAVE succeeded! It's just that they've hurt the people who elected them many times as badly.)

Matt should have 99% of his income removed and redistributed. It’s only fair.

I am not even going to bother going on and on about the hypocrisy, since the whole premise is skewed. “Income” is not “distributed” in this country, period. It is EARNED!

Here are TWO HOMES owned by Matt "Income Distribution" Lauer: According to virtualglobetrotters.com, this waterfront house in Southampton, NY was bought by Matt Lauer for about 2.1 million dollars:
Nice, but not as nice as this house, in Sag Harbor, NY.
So hey, maybe Matt can invite some of those Occupy punks over to one of his two places for some drumming and barbecue. Heck, he is so nice he'd probably let them take a dump on his front lawns.

My first thought was that in order to "fairly distribute" Matt's wealth, he should be allowed to live 3x better than the average American, since he's an important morning news anchor and all... So his salary should immediately be slashed to 3 times the average American's salary of $69,000 a year, or $207,000 a year. That should be plenty for Matt, and it's certainly a lot more fair.

Let the Today show be a leader in this distribution movement. NBC should pool the Today show’s income/benefits budget and divide it evenly among the staff .. Matt, clerks and secretaries, cameramen, producers, writers, makeup artists and hair stylists, the drivers who pick the stars up at their homes at 4am .. just everyone who works on the show. It would only be fair.

"So what responsibility does President Obama have in terms of dealing with income distribution in this country?" How did we get to a place where the mainstream national press endorses the premise here?
