Just when attacks — whether they are serious statements or jokes — against Sarah Palin and her family seem like they’ve reached an unprecedented climax, someone always seems to up the ante. On October 22, actor Orlando Jones (MADtv) tweeted the following message:

While it took many people a few days to realize that this was posted to the Twitterverse, commentators and political spectators are just now delving into commentary on the matter.
As of this morning, Jones still hadn’t opted to delete the micro-message (then again, there are so many screen captures of it, doing so would be fruitless at this juncture). Instead, he’s been defending it.

Frankly, this sounds like a terroristic threat -- the Palins really should consider pressing charges against these goddamned moonbats. Maybe they'll think twice about making such crazy statements after they get the bracelets slapped on them and have to hire attorneys to defend themselves in court.

Backing away from this -- without apologizing or repudiating it -- OJ gets himself in more trouble. He's said that Obama gets more death threats than any other president, which hasn't been proven to be a fact.
And he's asked people to count the number of jokes about Palin shooting Democrats and weigh them against his comment. The problem is that most of those jokes were also made up by Democrats or liberals attacking Palin.
It's not Sarah personally, it's directed against all conservatives in general, Sarah is just being used as a proxy.
