"He may get a temporary bump..... but after Iran moves in, he’ll be forced to send troops back, and his numbers will drop like a stone."

I don't think he will be sending the troops back in. Iraq would have to ask and they are thoroughly compromised by Iranian agents and money. Sunni - Shia violence will increase, but the MSM reporting will be thin and buried. Iraq will end up being another dysfunctional Arab state and largely a client state of Iran. The biggest flair-up will probably be with the Kurds in the North.

“I don’t think he will be sending the troops back in.”

I don’t think he’ll have a choice.
But even if he didn’t, the fact that Iraq will look more & more like a failure because he pulled everyone out, and that his decision makes our fallen soldiers look like they died in vain, will be enough to send his numbers into freefall
