Sources tell ABC News that the president will announce today that US troops in Iraq will draw down to zero by the end of the year.
A White House official says that at approximately 11:30am today, President Obama convened a secure video conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to talk with him about this news.

Not at all. Didn’t even think of that!!! Was referring to the Coptic Christian murders by the Muslim Brotherhood and Egyptian Army and the hundreds of innocent African Black Christians raped, jailed, tortured and murdered in Libya and North Africa by African Muslim, Obama’s Muslim Brotherhood brethren!!!
The problem is Obama could have negotiated the immunity deal if he wasn’t so inept. Days after we are out Iraq will align itself with a nuclear Iran. The consequences are dire. And Obama casts this as a victory! Spit.
I guess the new flag of Iraq on 1/1/2012 will be the one flying in Teheran now. Guarantee they have a joint plan worked out, maybe not so much to join as one country but to be “together” against the west.
I think the in spirit of how his plays out on the last day, both his excellency and the bimbo and in the pants suit should be at the former US Embassey as the last copter takes off. In fact, they should stay there.
Guess Iran got the go ahead, once our boys leave, to take over the place. Caliphate coming along nicely.
I give it three to four years tops before the place goes all to hell in a handbasket. If true t will be dumped right in the lap of a Republican president and congress who will have to be the grownups and take measures to secure our interests in the region once again.
I think that in the long term, we won’t regret having invaded Iraq. We will regret having not set up a totally Islam free government there. We should have insisted that no government could be established with Islam (or any other religion) as its state religion. We should have required total freedom of religion. Then we should have eliminated anyone or any organization that opposed this fundamental right. Why Sadir(sp?) is still walking around alive is a puzzlement to me. There will be a bloody civil war between Sunnis & Shias and then the Kurds. Iran will intervene and possible annex Iraq.
There’s a word for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Can’t quite put my finger on it...

We were never going to “win” this politically correct war anyway. Unless there is a CIC devoted to winning the war instead of hearts and minds, it was a waste of lives and money. Might as well get out with our tail between our legs.
I don't think he will be sending the troops back in. Iraq would have to ask and they are thoroughly compromised by Iranian agents and money. Sunni - Shia violence will increase, but the MSM reporting will be thin and buried. Iraq will end up being another dysfunctional Arab state and largely a client state of Iran. The biggest flair-up will probably be with the Kurds in the North.

But even if he didn’t, the fact that Iraq will look more & more like a failure because he pulled everyone out, and that his decision makes our fallen soldiers look like they died in vain, will be enough to send his numbers into freefall
What does Libya have to do with the WOT? Khadaffi was a POS, but who do you think will rule Libya now?
