Energy Catalyser: Potential game changer
October 19, 2011
BR RESEARCH
In 1985 the Norwegian music band, "A-ha" released a music video entitled "Take on me" which showed lead singer Morten Harket reminiscing over his love life as he interacts with moving images of his lover on a sheet of paper. While the song became an instant hit; the concept of an interactive multimedia device only received a baffled response of uh huh from viewers.
Fast forward to the present age and any self-respecting techie will greet mention of such technology with an unimpressed duh. Bottom line technology is evolving rapidly and it is creating new possibilities every day.
Fortunately, technological advances are not restricted to personal entertainment devices. In fact, as the worlds energy needs continue to mushroom, alternative energy has been the buzzword among visionary inventors and savvy investors.
These visionaries, keen on riding the waves of innovation, are eyeing a promising new technology on the horizon that could wash away conventional energy generation technologies. On October 28, Italian inventor Andrea Rossi and his associate Sergio Focardi will test their invention called the "Energy Catalyser" (E-Cat).
Rossi contends that this apparatus is capable of "carrying out nickel and hydrogen exothermal reactions". Put simply, the E-Cat is supposed to carry out a fusion reaction which converts a Nickel atom, into a Copper atom, releasing heat as a consequence. This heat can be channellised to power electrical devices, vehicles or machinery much like a steam engine.
Of course, there are many doubts surrounding this development. Chief among which is that theoretically, fusion reactions with any element, heavier than Iron (such as Nickel or Copper) are endothermic, not exothermic. In other words, the E-Cat apparatus would end up using more energy than it generates and would, hence, fail to live up to its intended purpose.
While there are at least as many sceptics of the E-Cat as there are fans; the scheduled test has drawn global attention. If the apparatus is able to achieve what Rossi and Focardi claim; it could radicalise power generation and reign in global demand for fossil fuels.
The "low energy nuclear reaction" would drive down the cost of power generation to a fraction of the cost incurred in even the cheapest conventional techniques such as hydro-power generation. Such a development would undoubtedly be a game changer for countries like Pakistan which are struggling to cough up resources enough to bridge the ever-widening chasm between the demand and generation capacity of electricity.
Even if the E-Cat actually does what it is supposed to create energy at a miniscule cost; it would still take some time before the technology can be adapted for large-scale power generation. Still, the potential impact of this invention is almost unimaginably far-reaching and as such the upcoming test of this technology will likely draw much attention in coming days.

Good to go as usual.
Have you ever asked yourself why the key phase “Potential Game Changer” all of a sudden crop up in all these stories all at the same time associated with Rossi and the Ecat??
If you don’t ask yourself this........you might be a mark.
Don’t be another sucker.
I enjoy the ‘science’ of this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah... also in the Tooth Fairy and someday it will rain soup...
I know... I know...
Still, I hope this works. If it does, it will indeed be a “game changer” and be the most important single invention since the plow. Free, or extremely cheap energy is really the “holy grail” of technology.
The results would simply be incalculable.
This is Rossi’s third scam and this con has been run since the late 19th century again and again.
It never gets old.
I ask myself other questions, such as, how can bosons be locally charged? Or what else can contribute to the tunnelling of the 4He fragmentation boundary? Or is the potential well deep enough for Bose-Einstein condensates to form? Or is the Heisenberg uncertainty principle modified when an atom is stuck in a cage?
Then along comes this attention seeking Rossi dude. He’s a flamboyant, mercurial business man, not a scientist. When you look past the razzamatazz, does he really have something? Like, Dr. Levi, a known skeptic investigates it and then says there’s something nuclear going on?
I don’t care if I’m another sucker. I already have money in my pocket due to Dr. Arata’s (Yet another mercurial personality) LENR experiment getting replicated. I’m ahead on this game, before Rossi ever showed up.

So put your money where your mouth is. Put up or shut up.
Rossi’s third scam and about the 100th time this crap has been posted. This is a joke in the scientific community. How do I know? I do research in the energy sector with REAL research organizations such as DARPA, ONR, NIST and others. This is anything but scientific and so are the “independent” analysis that are claimed by this crew.
So did you invest in the water powered car too?
1. Dr. Levi, isn’t a skeptic
2. You lost money because your cold fusion contract on Intrade lost
3. mercurial means thievishness as like the God Mercury .. very accurate adjective you are using
4. business man ... maybe if he is doing all this by himself .. filing the press released etc... but it looks like he has a lot of help from some back room. Look again at the business license I posted. I believe there is a real investor here that is going to make money, but it isn’t the ones that are betting on ecat, it is the guy betting on the suckers that are betting on ecat.
Actually, the watered powered car exists. It is called a carnot cycle, better known as a steam engine. This E-Cat stuff is crap. Kemvo posts this tripe every single day.
There was a guy that actually was selling a water powered engine. Guy was selling the crap for 2-3 years before he went to prison.
Even sold a conversion kit that you could put into a traditional car that promised to reduce your gas mileage. Same guy.
This has been going on so long that I have seen videos on Youtube, there have been documentaries on this....on and on.
The common thread in all of them, they seek out people with imaginations that can conceive a simple concept as solving a larger problem and therefore automatically generate confidence in the idea.
The guy with the engine that ran on water, he said he split the water into Hydrogen and Oxygen then re-combusted them to power the engine. Of course, once it was re-combusted it produced water which he then split again to allow his engine to run for long periods of time without refueling.
It was discovered that the guy had a large fuel tank that was feeding the engine through a hidden hose.
People bought his stuff left and right ... actually ran into someone the other day that swore up and down that the kit he bought to convert his car worked as advertised. Just couldn’t get him to believe it didn’t work or to entertain the idea the guy is in prison.
People want to believe they aren’t chumps.
1. Dr. Levi, isnt a skeptic
***
http://coldfusion3.com/blog/giuseppe-levi-goes-on-record-to-discuss-e-cat
Levi is a member of the US group the Skeptics Society and he applied their baloney detector kit. (A set of parameters for the detection of fraud developed by the late Carl Sagan) to the e-cat and found it was not baloney.
Levi said he investigated the e-cat because it is his duty as a scientist. He also wanted to protect the University of Bolognas reputation from a possible fraud.
This is anything but scientific
***Rossi is a businessman, and engineer; not a scientist. Of course it’s all considered a joke in the scientific community, that’s the problem.
Answer this:
Why is it that, even though the Pons-Fleischmann effect has been replicated more than 14,700 times, it still is considered unreplicated? The answer lies in those biased scientists you listen to. Were those 14,700 replications done before or after Rossi came on the scene?
This stuff is hitting the mainstream, now, mr. science researcher.
For someone so well versed in science, it should be no problem for you to contribute to the effort to disprove Rossi’s claims.

But you won’t do that. You’ll join all the other useless seagulls and post invective rather than facts. You won’t even take my money, because you are a coward.
It was discovered that the guy had a large fuel tank that was feeding the engine through a hidden hose.
***Plenty of people have been looking for Rossi’s hidden hoses or large fuel tanks. They must all be in on the conspiracy.
His con is much simpler, he already has hoses hooked to it.
