Why is Michelle dressed like she is the captain of a cruise ship?

Prepping for a role as VP? Cruise director is pretty much the job, yes?

I assumed the photo was reversed. If not, I'll stop here lest I invite a zot.

Bachman and Santorum need to hang it up. I think Bachman stepped all over herself begging for attention. She needs to exit gracefully. I like Santorum, but he does not have “it” and gaffed with the your time is up. Newt took apart Romney the way he should have. Cain quiet and letting this go by — sometimes best to say nothing when your opponents are happily taking on each other.

It just flashed on the bottom of the screen “after the break” and it was a “gay marriage” question.

Anderson Poofter would never be able to let a stage full of Republicans go without asking about that!

After one debate with Newt, Obama would be in a fetal position on the stage clutching his teleprompter.

I read that obama's teleprompter was stolen today LOL

Yea, it was almost like Bachmann was running interference for Romney.

Oh no! They’re beating up on Mitt, better jump in and change the subject.

Mitt’s getting disembowled by Santorum-Newt. Trying now to scoop up his own guts. Not pretty.

I always thought he was gutless.

Hmmmmm....

Herman Cain campaign consultant Gary Robbins, a former assistant to the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Tax Analysis, said that Cain’s much-discussed 9-9-9 plan — which which would set the corporate tax rate, the individual income tax rate and a new national sales tax all at nine percent – was intended less as a real political solution and more as a conceptual idea:

I would boot Ron Paul and Perry, with Bachmann a strong third, but hey, that’s just me.

1) So far, this seems to be a lot of A Cooper asking each candidate to attack each other and
2) Mitt is the target thus far.

The latter is fine by me! The former is the plan of CNN.

These debates have steered clear of social issues in favor of Mitt I feel.

Does anybody else think Cooper is shaking in his shoes waiting for them to come after him?

Newt doing the best so far. Definitely. Classy of him to commend Cain for bringing it to the table. Also classy of him to say there’s more to it than Cain lets on, WITHOUT attacking Cain in the process.

And yes, Cain needs to explain 999 better, and let it ride, rather than pushing it. I’m tired of hearing about it. I care more about character than the details of 999.

This is actually a good format - one moderator and Anderson Cooper looks as if he stumbled into a rugby scrum.

Cain sitting back & regrouping - good plan - he is used to being a CEO and listening before making a decision. Newt is doing a great job directing the conversation.

Here’s Paul - he does well with the cutting spending tack.
Very popular with the audience.

Kudos to Santorum! Way to go after Romney

Mr. Cain... Any time now. The water’s warm. Feel free to attack Romney... Don’t just sit there with your failed 9/9/9 pizza-ad inspired slogan

No. Perry is not stuck on energy. He talks about a broad array of things. I would like Cain to do that as well but Cain made the mistake of getting mired in the details of a specific tax plan that he has to constantly explain and defend. Big tactical mistake for him.
