So I gave each poll results equal weighting, and averaged them, as follows:
Sample | Cain | Romney | Gingrich | Paul | Bachman | Perry | Huntsman | Santorum
U.S. COMPOSITE | 1812 RV | 28.1 | 26.4 | 9.2 | 7.4 | 5.9 | 5.7 | 2.3 | unknown |
SC | 476 RV | 32 | 16 | 8 | 6 | 6 | 12 | 1 | NotAsked |
FL | 505 RV | 30.2 | 32.6 | 11.7 | 2.7 | 1.6 | 2.9 | 2 | NotAsked |
IA | 422 RV | 26 | 18 | 12 | 10 | 11 | 6 | 1 | NotAsked |
NH | 409 RV | 24 | 39 | 5 | 11 | 5 | 2 | 5 | NotAsked |
Sample | Cain | Romney | Gingrich | Paul | Bachman | Perry | Huntsman | Santorum
U.S. ZOGBY | 1214 RV | 45 | 21 | 6 | 8 | 1 | 7 | 3 | 3 |
BobL: You're right. The COMPOSITE seems even conservative compared to other polls done recently.
Thanks for the Zogby Poll. I have found him to be one of the most accurate pollsters.
He just seems to phrase the poll questions more realistically.
Thanks again.
What is scary is the % of people that have never heard of Herman Cain. Do you have any numbers on that?
