David Axlerod took a swing at Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain Monday, saying that he thought Cains 9-9-9 proposal would hurt the poor and the middle class.
The senior Obama adviser called Cain an intruiging personality on Morning Joe, but took a shot at the Republican candidates tax proposal, saying, I think his plan deserves scrunity I dont think its good for most Americans.
I think youve got to add the 9-9-9 up, get to 27 percent, and thats probably what poor and middle-class people will end up paying once the thing is implemented, Axlerod said.
Despite the attention suddenly being heaped on the former Godfathers Pizza CEO, Axelrod said Cain was not going to be a top-tier contender in the 2012 election.
I think, when you look at the resources and when you look at the standing, that Perry and Romney are likely to be duking it out at some point here, said Axlerod.

Wash, rinse, repeat, ad Nauseam, or at least until it is accepted as truth by the ignorant masses.
Hey Assholerod, if this keeps up, OBAMA won’t be a serious contender!
LOL! Question to all those mindless libs: How does it taste? LOL!
Come to think of it, I think I'll go carve "FreeRepublic.Com" in the "Axelrod" table that has his picture above it.
This is Axelrod's favorite place to eat. I go there all the time, it's a great old-school deli.
Well, great to eat there unless Obama shows up with his SS detail, locks the place down so no one can enter or leave and ruins your appetite.
(True story, that happened to me days after the election. Boy was I *pissed.*)
So I gave each poll results equal weighting, and averaged them, as follows:
Sample | Cain | Romney | Gingrich | Paul | Bachman | Perry | Huntsman | Santorum | |
U.S. COMPOSITE | 1812 RV | 28.1 | 26.4 | 9.2 | 7.4 | 5.9 | 5.7 | 2.3 | unknown |
SC | 476 RV | 32 | 16 | 8 | 6 | 6 | 12 | 1 | NotAsked |
FL | 505 RV | 30.2 | 32.6 | 11.7 | 2.7 | 1.6 | 2.9 | 2 | NotAsked |
IA | 422 RV | 26 | 18 | 12 | 10 | 11 | 6 | 1 | NotAsked |
NH | 409 RV | 24 | 39 | 5 | 11 | 5 | 2 | 5 | NotAsked |
I'd say this looks pretty reasonable compared to other polls done recently.
Note that Gingrich is 3rd, and Perry would be in SIXTH place!
Perry would do a 'little' better in a national poll that includes Texas, but not all that much better.
Much like what the government does with unemployment statistics, the following chart represents a 4-poll "rolling average" for the latest 20 polls listed at RealClearPolitics.com (plus YouGov). I also weighted the polls by their size. For example, a poll with a survey size of 1000 was weighted proportionately heavier than an 324 survey size.

Asselrod? We all know where his opinions come from!
Herman Cain vs dunham debate preview!!...

It's still Romney's nomination to lose and Obama's reelection is nearly assured.
“You COULD say that the four InsiderAdvantage state polls released today represent a reasonably good cross-section of our overall country. “
You’re still being very generous with the others...but Cain still manages to stay on top. I’d say it was certainly a good day for Cain with the polls.
Inasmuch as the current corporate tax rate is 35%, even this asinine 27% propaganda says the poor would be paying less than they must be now using Axelrod’s logic.
I've been watching the national averages for weeks and the dynamics I find quite interesting.
Keep up the good work, I'm always interested.
“I think, when you look at the resources and when you look at the standing, that Perry and Romney are likely to be duking it out at some point here, said Axlerod.”
This should tell you all you need to know about who they’re hoping for. if they wanted to go against Cain they’d be pimping him, instead they’re desperately trying to marginalize him out of fear. There is no candidate in our current field the libs fear more than Herman Cain.
“actually, I think Axelrod looks (and acts) like the Meathead, Michael Stivek, of All in the Family.”

ROFLMAO! You’ve nailed it!
Axelrod is whistling in the dark. Bwahahaha!
I think he’s being honest.
Cain has had serious issues with cancer and has never held an elective office. The odds of him getting the nomination are slim at best. Just my opinion.
I always look to David Axelrod for a clear analysis of the GOP lineup.
