David Axlerod took a swing at Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain Monday, saying that he thought Cains 9-9-9 proposal would hurt the poor and the middle class.
The senior Obama adviser called Cain an intruiging personality on Morning Joe, but took a shot at the Republican candidates tax proposal, saying, I think his plan deserves scrunity I dont think its good for most Americans.
I think youve got to add the 9-9-9 up, get to 27 percent, and thats probably what poor and middle-class people will end up paying once the thing is implemented, Axlerod said.
Despite the attention suddenly being heaped on the former Godfathers Pizza CEO, Axelrod said Cain was not going to be a top-tier contender in the 2012 election.
I think, when you look at the resources and when you look at the standing, that Perry and Romney are likely to be duking it out at some point here, said Axlerod.

Axelrod is going to find out how serious Cain is and then he wished he never said it
What is it that the Liberals used to love to say.... Oh yeah thats right... “He speaks truth to power”..... LOL that is Herman Cain all the way, He doesn’t need the fancy MITT haircut or the downhome Texas drawl of Rick Perry... Herman Cain speaks truth to power and his Rhetoric is very popular with us PLAIN OLD FOLKS outside of the Establishment..... The best weapon against liberals is to take away their talking points.... Just one look at the 999 plan shows you that you have official established a FAIR SHARE taxation system but the Liberals get exposed because they don’t really want a FAIR SHARE tax plan they want the middle class to pay always do, the rich pass the costs to the middle class and the poor are exempt because they take the Income Tax welfare payments... So the bottom line is the great expanse of the MiddleClass foot the bill in America and guess what we are not going to keep on footing the bill....
Scared $hitless, eh David?
Axelrod is clearly just racist.
“”I dont think its good for most Americans.”
Did he outline what “good” obozo has done for most Americans? Or did they let him skip over that?
9 + 9 + 9 = 27! That man is a genius with Math but I guess he didn’t learn to read.
You all know these questions don’t have any answers, of course.
“”Bolton as VP would be great””
NO - he’d be my choice for Secretary of State. So many good choices for a Republican president to appoint...
“”Hey Axelrod! THATS RACIST!!””
Wouldn’t it be great if all conservatives started yelling RACIST?
We have to bombard our representatives to back Herman. If they stay silent, we’ll remember that when it’s their turn at reelection time.
HEH HEH HEH....axie is skeeeeerrrd....
And your boy is series.
Um, if poor people would be paying 27% after 9-9-9, doesn’t that mean they are paying 35% now, since that’s the business tax rate?

Yes, I got two posts! Now I can be corrected twice!
I’ll take Cain over Axelgrease’s stooge anytime. Four more years: Nein! Nein! Nein!
We've heard that many times before from the Perry people.
And it wasn't believable coming from them, either.
Go Herman!
Oh nuts, I meant SMEAR Cain. I am sorry that typo sounded offensive.
lol! That was funny not offensive.
OK, this was in Politico. Does anyone think that Hussein's campaign won't have stories run in the MSM every other day reminding conservatives of these facts and suppressing their turn out? It should be painfully obvious to anyone with a pulse, Barry can't run on his record. The last thing he wants the campaign to be about is the economy. Herman Cain is all about creating REAL jobs and turning around struggling enterprises. On top of that he renders the race card null and void. Axlerod , Zer0 et al are right to fear him.
Cain must learn how to speak Austrian and treat asthma patients with breathalyzers before Axelrod would consider him a serious contender.
