The simple response should be, “Wow, you’ve been planning to do this for three years as president? You should have executed your scheme back then, when you controlled the entire government, instead of letting everybody think you either you were executing a different scheme that was an utter failure, or that you didn’t even have a scheme at all. Or did you just concoct this new scheme out of whole cloth just to try and get reelected?”
