That’s still pretty mild and doesn’t address that Romney is a flip-flopping, craven weasel.
Hey PA Conservative,
Great minds think alike! I’ve been begging the Cain team to take off the gloves RE: Romney and his RINO policies.
I send an e-mail with every $10 donation..I can only hope one will get their attention
Thanks for the ping, I am waiting too...
“I’m going after Romney only on his economic plan because that’s where he is a little weak,” Cain said”
This is a “big attack” on Romney? That his economic plan is “a little weak” and that is the only thing he can think of attacking him on? How about global warming, just for starters?
This attack and the other about “Romney is not a staunch conservative” are about as vicious, as when a two-day old kitten “attacks” you, really ferociously.
“some of these other people saying or intimating (without a shred of evidence) that some kind of collusion existed or exists between Mr. Cain and Gov. Romney “
What do you mean “without any evidence”.
This feeble “attack” itself is evidence. All Cain can say is that Romney’s economic plan is “a little weak” and that is the only thing he can think to criticize him about? And Cain himself said that he would be willing to be anyone’s VP, but not Perry’s — well, who else is there, except Romney? Cain is clearly Romney’s surrogate — Cain attacked Perry, even said he couldn’t even support him in the general election, but can’t manage to say anything negative about Romney. In another article the worst Cain could say is that Romney is “not a staunch conservative”.
Romney was also pushing Cain — he is happy if people vote for himself OR CAIN — precisely because Cain is there to split the conservative vote to help Romney.
And where do you think all the talk of Romney/Cain is coming from too?
How much more evidence do you need?!
Uh, he did. Just yesterday. Where you been?
None of that is accurate.
Knowing full well Cain was in the race well before Perry ever was or anyone even knew Perry might be interested in running, the Perry supporters continue with the narrative that Cain is the race to siphon votes away from Perry. Nevermind the fact that Romney is being complimentary to other conservative candidates to try to split us into multiple camps - you notice the softball question he threw to Bachmann in the last debate in order to give her an opportunity to speak at length in an obvious attempt to siphon at least a few points off of Herman Cain who is nipping at his heals (otherwise his decision to ask his question of Bachmann makes no sense). The Perry supporters are as a bad as the Paul supporters anymore.
Cain’s been trying to get the message out for the last week that he’s taking on Romney. In fact, he’s now talking up how tough he’s going to be on him , the way he said he’d be tough on him in the last debate.
So it’s pretty obvious he’s got to at least look like he’s swinging a few punches, even though he never really lands a blow.
No, I’m not full of it. He would not endorse Cain for sure. I thinking maybe he would endorse Newt. Time will tell.
“This cant be right! Why Cain and Mitt are in a conspiracy together!”
LOL, LOL!!!!
If Perry had to bow out, who do you think he would endorse?
Romney talks fast, uses up a lot of words, and says nothing.
Response not even dignified. How DARE you!?
Romney had slick brochures by the Niagara in 2008.Robocalls-a-plenty from Michelle Bachmann.
No one takes a better photo than Rick Perry.
Yet the best chords have been struck in the stump speeches of the man without portfolio.
Plain as Cain: peace through strength; kumbaya is not a strategy.
Homosexuality is a choice and a sin.
The occupying folks should move their protest to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Romney at last has no more message than a tail fin, a shirt logo, a yellow bracelet.
Obama and Wright and Ayers are taking it to the streets and from there to Hell.
Mr. Cain aims to lead the push of the shining city back up on the hill where it belongs.
Just how did he get over.
Just how is it he's not one giving the hard look and the "watchoo doon awn mah shtreet"--
A, B, C: American, Black, Conservative.
Any Cain supporter who doesn’t recognize that Cain’s 999 has some elements that need adjusting and others that need more detail, then you are setting Cain up for failure in the general election.
Obama will go after Cain on Cain’s plan causing an increase in taxes for most of the middle and lower class.
It’s going to happen. There is time to adjust if someone just listens.
I believe you owe flip-flopping craven weasels an apology for comparing them to Romney.
The "tyranny of the status quo" says if you're going to do implement a major change, likely to be met with fierce resistance, you do it quickly in the first 100 days or so in office. Reagan and Obama both understood this, especially Reagan because he had a hostile majority in Congress. Obama had a little more time because he had a leftist-friendly Congress.
Getting a law quickly is the key implementing the law can be gradual. The key is to get the bill passed in the first 100 days and it must have a new flat sales tax AND complete elimination of income tax and all other taxes and most of the IRS. Implementation would of course be time-phased but it must concurrently phase in sales tax and phase out income tax and most of the IRS.
Failure to enact a law that BOTH abolishes income tax and most of the IRS AND creates a sales tax raises the spectre of getting stuck crossing the river after passing only a sales tax bill and drowning with BOTH federal sales tax and income tax - a Socialists dream. Implementation of course would be a concurrent phase-in and phase-out. Failure to have BOTH in the bill risks a parade of horribles.
He also seems to be missing a spending cut feature which I think hell need to sell this huge and essential tax cut. He might want to take a page out of Reagan's book and hire the best business minds to come to DC and noodle this and then come up with a sound proposal - shouldn't be difficult to see tremendous slashes in pure government waste.
That should all be Phase I. From there, maybe he can start pecking away at useless Cabinet departments.
Complex answers lead to 2000 page bills with all sorts of hidden crap that costs we taxpayers billions.
