I'm sure Perry has a plan, but I have seen him scoff at the idea of a wall on the border on more than one occasion. He seems to think that it cannot be done.

If Perry actually wants a combined approach: a wall and boots on the ground, then I will give him credit for that. But from what I have seen, he talks about boots on the ground a lot, and a wall very little.

He scoffs because, well, he lives in Texas. He’s actually been to the border. He’s seen the border.

Has Cain seen it?

Has Romney seen it?

He dismisses the idea of saying, ‘build a fence,’ because it’s far more complicated than that.

That doesn’t mean he dismisses the idea of securing the border. That’s a big leap for you to make.

Of course, we could put out land mines.
