look at the pic in the first post :)
Plan number one sounds pretty good to me. Drill, baby, drill. Mine, baby, mine. Cut, baby, cut!!
come on Cain is just making the point that you can’t be afraid to use whatever means you have at your disposal to secure the border.
i doubt he literally intends to build a continent wide electrical fence.
Near Clausthal Zellerfeld, West Germany, I saw a fence like the one Cain wants, in 1982.
Perry, on the other hand, doesn't seem to want to go there at all.
I am liking the energy President, Mr. Perry. More money is will be sent to him! We need to develop our resources and I don’t care what anybody else says but I do know that IT’S THE SPENDING STUPID! .....and We definitely don’t need a national sales tax......
Omigosh. Cain proposes a fence that would kill people trying to cross over.
I guess there are people around here who would be fine with that.
Cain should never have said that aloud. Never.
He would never get 30% of the black vote and now, he may get zero percent of the Mexican vote.
I hope Perry can get some mojo back with his energy plan.
I like Cain but he has no cash to beat Romney. Perry is the only one that stands between Romney and the nomination.
Love it! Love it! Love it!
I was looking for a picture of an electric fence in the middle of the Rio Grande River, but the one you have will do just fine!
“Before we assume that Herman Cains suggestion will cause Democrats or even select Republicans to throw even more scorn in his direction, Id suggest this: Cain could win over many of them simply by saying that in his border plan, the fence would be electrified with power provided by solar panels the government purchased from stimulus-backed green energy companies.”
Good one. lol
I’d like to trace these proposals to the original speeches.
This creates a grand opening for Rand Paul who for a while has been preaching that any fence that can keep Mexicans out can also keep Americans in. The fence would not care if you are coming or going, or for that matter if you’re a migratory critter (EPA will probably throw a giant monkey wrench at this one). I expect it’s not too long before this gets toned back to “one in a list of possibilities.”
No to, electrify, electrify, electrify.
Yes to more fences, more BP agents and more high tech hardware.
> Who did the GOP Establishment push into the race after it seem Tea Party heroine Bachmann was going to upset Romneys ride to the nomination?
Who does the GOP Establishment see as their back up card if Romney fails?
Who has long standing intimate ties with the Liberal wing of the GOP Establishment?
The answer is Rick Perry.
Bill Kristol to a NY Time Reporter telling him how the GOP Establishment plans to deal with the Tea party mutiny
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2792217/posts?page=3
Kristol told me just after Perry entered the race, a development that essentially ended [the more radical Michele] Bachmanns brief ascent. Establishment Republicans may prefer Romney to Perry, but their assumption is that either man can be counted on to steer the party back toward the broad center next fall, effectively disarming the Tea Party mutiny.
Wonder who Perry will be VP with?
Odd how that question never gets asked of Perry.
Could it be because everyone knows Perry is the GOP Establishment mole in the race to split the Tea Party/Conservative vote and hand the nomination to Romney?
Could it be because they know the ticket the GOP Machine is setting up is Romney/Perry 2012? Think about it. Romney has the money, Perry has the idolatrous worship from the social Conservatives.
Could that be why the Perry camp is knowingly lying about Cains solidly Conservative record on both social and fiscal issues? Because they know full well Perrys record can not stand close scrutiny?
What does anyone really know about Perry other then the nice words and platitudes he puts in his speeches? Looks like Perry is just Bush 3.0 another tough talking social conservative who will go to DC and be yet another good little GOP crony capitalist water boy.
No elected president would build a fence across that huge distance. All that money spent, and they’d just dig under it. Perry is just being honest about it.
Oh gag me. Drill drill drill but don’t be heartless.
