I hope Perry can get some mojo back with his energy plan.
I like Cain but he has no cash to beat Romney. Perry is the only one that stands between Romney and the nomination.

Perry is the only one that stands between Romney and the nomination. After NH, it's downhill for Mitt. He couldn't be Mccain in 08, how will he beat a real Conservative? When the southern states vote, it's over for Myth Romney.

Yet he is ahead in most of the early polls.

How is Perry's energy plan fundamentally different than Cain's? Cain is in favor of loosening regulation so that we can develop our own abundant resources and letting market forces drive the appropriate energy sources. He is against goverment subsidies to pick winners and losers. You can read his Issues section on his website. I don't see an "Energy" topic section on Rick's website, but from what he has said, it sounds like a similar stance to Cain's.

Perry is the only one that stands between Romney and the nomination. Always has been. Which is precisely the reason he's taken hits from the right and the left from day one.
