You are treading on thin ice. Not a good idea (esp with the screen name Dr. white) for a newbie to call a long time freeper a racist, esp when he is supporting Cain.

So, are you from DU?

Kid relax and be more concerned about defeating the poser Romney...

We need a REAL conservative as the GOP nominee...

OMG a voice of reason.

I agree completely, and oppose Romney 100%.

"For anyone to say that you don't know what you will do if it's Romney vs. Bambi is asinine at best"

No; I don't believe it's "assinine" for those of us who want a Conservative, and NOT ROMNEY THE RINO, nor did I even hint that "don't know what to do" was a part of my thought process (your inference).

Those who are ignorant or paid infiltrators for ROMNEY THE RINO who already have given up Principle and Conservative values (as indicated by their willingness to take whatever the Republican Establishment Elite spoon-feeds them as a Candidate) are the ones who could accurately be pursuing an "assinine" position.

Ditto ... and add Newt to that list!

GOP elitist ... check.

Scozzafava, anti-Tea Party endorsement ... check.

Pelosi, global warming ... check.

Hillary, healthcare ... check.

Middle path on immigration ... check.

IMO, Newt’s presidential race opperandus is to draw in Conservatives, and when bowing out of the race he’ll endorse Mitt.

Within the GOP elite, it’s Mitt’s turn.

I did not accuse anyone of "being a racist for supporting Black conservative".

YOU accused a FReeper who supports Cain of being a racist, PERIOD.

Those terms are racist, and would be repudiated by Herman Cain (whom I respect) in one second if he ever heard them.

However, the FACT is that you accused a FReeper of being a racist, not just using inappropriate terms, but actually being a racist.

I really didn’t expect that level of ‘and I’m taking my ball home’ from Cain, either. I was alarmed.

Well, any candidate except Perry. .... free me

Well, free me, at least Herman Cain agrees with you.

Herman Cain said Wednesday that he would be unable to support Rick Perry for president if the Texas governor were to eventually win the party's nomination. .... The former businessman said, for instance, that he could support former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney....

Once the Primary Wars start, once Cain's sound bites have been shredded by response ads and Cain has an empty war chest and no voice because he has spent his time hawking books, the two GOP candidates left standing will be Mitt Romney ($14 million war chest) and Rick Perry ($18 million war chest).

If you still want "any candidate except Perry", let us know if you will be supporting Barack Obama or Mitt Romney in 2012.

You have painted yourself into an extremely small corner.

Stop posting pictures of your mirror and try to focus on the actual topic of at hand, which is opposing Romney.

Of all the vitriol I’ve gotten after expressing that I WANT ØBAMA DEFEATED—PERIOD!, you’ve actually posted a point that intriges me:

“But if Romney LOSES, the opposition stays hungry and angry. Maybe they turn their attention to reforming the GOP.”

This is worthy of debate.

I can’t help but note that the same thing was said in 2008. How’d that work out? Granted, we have a glimmer of hope with Tea Party influence, but how much success can we claim if Rahm-nee is the nominee?

The Republican party has a few young guns who seem to get it (Paul Ryan, Cantor, even Bachman), but overall they’re still inundated with Beltway Rove-o-Cons who only hurt the conservative image. If we can’t confront the MEDIA on its complicity in all America’s ills, the Republicans are a dead-party-walking as it is.

Should Romney be "the one," I'll vote for the down-ticket conservatives on the ballot, but I will not vote for an abortionist, gay-rights pushing, gun-grabbing, global-warming advocating, big government healthcare mandating statist/progressive for president!! I'd rather write-in the name of the tea party conservative who best matches my beliefs.

Ditto. I was a broken glass republican last time and held my nose while crawling over that glass to vote for McCain (with Palin to ease the pain). What good did it do me? We still got Obama.

If the GOP establishment give us Pits Romney, then we ought to occupy the RNC! He’s like Harry Reid but without the sour face.
