Of all the vitriol I’ve gotten after expressing that I WANT ØBAMA DEFEATED—PERIOD!, you’ve actually posted a point that intriges me:

“But if Romney LOSES, the opposition stays hungry and angry. Maybe they turn their attention to reforming the GOP.”

This is worthy of debate.

I can’t help but note that the same thing was said in 2008. How’d that work out? Granted, we have a glimmer of hope with Tea Party influence, but how much success can we claim if Rahm-nee is the nominee?

The Republican party has a few young guns who seem to get it (Paul Ryan, Cantor, even Bachman), but overall they’re still inundated with Beltway Rove-o-Cons who only hurt the conservative image. If we can’t confront the MEDIA on its complicity in all America’s ills, the Republicans are a dead-party-walking as it is.

It takes a long time to corrupt a political party. It won't clean up over night. The tea Party Pats are the greatest thing to come along in some time.

already they have stymied some of the rinos who have been heard saying "gee these new guys cant be bought".

I think they are our best chance to clean up the party.

It may be eight years in the future but with the potential of a Palin/Rubio ticket in the future it gives me hope.
