Thousands of demonstrators joined the "Occupy Wall Street" movement in several German cities on Saturday, protesting against the worldwide financial system. Similar protests have been called worldwide.
Police estimated that around 5,000 demonstrators marched through Frankfurt to the headquarters of the European Central Bank (ECB), while around the same number joined protests in Munich, Berlin and Cologne.
The Cologne protests adopted the slogan "Real Democracynow!" and declared solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York, which is demonstrating against perceived injustices in the worldwide banking system.
Protesters gathered at Berlin's Alexanderplatz square at midday to march on Angela Merkel's chancellery. Among the organizers was the anti-globalization protest group Attac.

How dare they prove Glenn Beck right, especially about this being a global movement. Van Jones' "October Offensive", anyone . . . ?
However, at least this time, they have the right target (the ECB, who were the ultimate cause of the 2008 financial meltdown); problem is, they're being useful idiots for the elites that want to seize more power for themselves.

The Cologne protests adopted the slogan "Real Democracynow!" Where "Real Democracy" = the state owning the means of production.

The Gibbs free energy sign is "+" all the way. About as spontaneous as reading the Obamacare bill before you pass it.

Thousands of demonstrators joined the "Occupy Wall Street" movement in several German cities on Saturday,... These people don't even know where Wall Street ends?
I remember well people giving GB the laugh-off for his supposed "absurd" insinuation that protests were a global agenda when he discussed it on his FOX program last year.

I’m praying that Beck is wrong, however he has been spot-on with many of his predictions that I initially thought were “bizarre”.

You can always count on the Germans to join any liberal “movement” that comes down the pike. Especially if the “movement” contains a whiff of communism.

Proof that the United States has not cornered the market for disheveled, clueless, foul-mouthed, spoiled, socialists who have no abilities or motivation to support themselves.

It’s part of the global socialist movement. It’s the same people who protested against George W. Bush for eight years. The same people who protested against “globalization.” And the same people who protested against the Ronald Reagan in the 1980s.
