Imagine Thanksgiving dinner—what do you see? Mothers, fathers, grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, male cousins and female cousins. See a pattern here? There are people of BOTH sexes at a typical Thanksgiving dinner. I wonder what a Thanksgiving dinner in the gay areas of San Francisco looks like? What will their “families” look like in a generation of same sex couples with children? Would it be a world of separation of the sexes and children being isolated from whole familes of mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, aunts and uncles etc. Gays may “borrow” familes from others such as their neieces and nephews or they may adopt children but what will their extended families be like with only people of one sex or only gay or lesbian friends. There has never been such a subculture.

However, modern experience has been something along the lines of what you have suggested: the AIDS epidemic has slowed (but by no means halted) the rampant carnality of many homosexual men. Anal sex, straight or gay, is inherently unhealthy. The human bowel is loaded with truly massive amounts of bacteria, and intimate contact with it is by definition bad for your health. AIDS did not create the unhealthy nature of gay sex, it just added to it.

This results in extended sex sessions which are very damaging to soft tissue. Blood, semen, saliva, and fecal matter co-mingle, resulting in a host of health issues as well as disease transmission.

Ah, I see now. Yes, it's true: rarely do we hear about the sanitary aspect of anal sex.
It is also true, by the way, that a large minority of self-identified homosexual men do not engage in anal sex, probably for the reasons you have cited.
The problem with the left's vision for "comprehensive" sex education is that there is no way not to have a slant against sexual behavior that was once (and still is in some sectors of society) considered deviant--and I am referring to everything from sodomy to oral to abortion to even many contraceptives--if you are totally objective about what those things actually are and what are the consequences or potential pitfalls.
Where have you been—yes, check out rimming and felching activities among male homos—it is the reality of the lifestyle and not what you see on TV. Fecal material is an aphrodisiac to male homos which is the main reason so many of them seek deviant sex in filthy public restrooms.
I guess they will need to re-release the move “Please don’t eat the daisies”, “Please don’t eat the Poo Poo”.
HIV positive homosexuals and IV drug users are walking petri dishes for many highly infectious diseases that normally behaving people can and **do** get!!!! TB is one of them. Not only are they immune compromised, but their lifestyle puts them in contact with many others who are carrying very dangerous and deadly infectious diseases!
Those who are not homosexual, are not IV drug users, who do NOT live promiscuous and on the edge lives, are JUSTIFIED in being very irritated with these guys and ( some) gals. With self-restraint HIV infection, and its spread to innocent victims, could be stopped in its tracks. And....Let's not forget the other infectious diseases that these guys and ( some) gals are spreading around.
