Cain’t imagine in my wildest dreams, that the tea party members will go for a natioal sales tax.
An endorement for Herman would mean an endorsement of his plan.
A lot of them are. It’s theater of the absurd.
“Caint imagine in my wildest dreams, that the tea party members will go for a natioal sales tax.”
If it’s in exchange for a drop in income taxes to a very low rate, then I think you’ll find a lot of people going for it. Myself for example.
Talk about context!
One cannot separate one from the other two legs of Cain's plan.
Lower my income tax to 9% and I'll gladly pay a 9% sales tax on everything I buy, including food. Heck, I moved out of California to avoid its state income tax.
It's a sales tax, not a VAT.

Obviously, you know nothing about the Cain plan...many on here do not, and if they do, they want to continue to lie about what is in it. Most of you are Paulies and Perrybots. Now, you ask why Tea Party people would go for a national sales tax...what, pray tell, is the vaunted fair tax? HMMM?
“Caint imagine in my wildest dreams, that the tea party members will go for a natioal sales tax.”
The tea party, for the most part, loves the FairTax.
Cain should get more support for this - not less.
Caint imagine in my wildest dreams, that the tea party members will go for a natioal sales tax.

The 9-9-9 turns ...
1) illegals
2) Those who don’t pay income tax
3) Those on section 8 housing who drive BMWs
4) welfare recipients
... into taxPAYERS.
This means 1/2 the country that was NOT paying taxes, now is.
Which means the other 1/2 that was paying ALL the taxes, is now paying less.
Sounds great! Everybody has skin in the game when the time comes to talk of “raising taxes”.
1/2 the country never votes right? Once tax PAYERS realize that this will lower their tax burden, they will crawl over broken glass to vote for this.
If you don’t agree, please tell me what I am failing to consider.
