Appearing as a guest on Monday's Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN, singer Tony Bennett declared that President Obama is the "greatest accomplishment that the United States ever came up with," and expressed admiration for the President whom he labeled as "more than intelligent."
A bit later, when asked by host Piers Morgan whether he believed war was ever "justified," with Morgan specifically asking if it was "imperative" to "defend yourselves" against Adolf Hitler in spite of the "collateral damage," Bennett, a World War II veteran, was not so sure:
I doubt Piers would mind licking boots and speaking German as long as he still had a position in the ministry of propaganda.
Just when I think that Tony Bennett couldn’t be a bigger a$$hole then he already is, ‘ole Tony goes and proves me wrong.
If he is cognisant of the world around him I think he is not a very bright bulb.
If not I feel sorry for him.
But besides that whole pesky WW II thing... what about the American Civil War..
A one-time great singer and WWII patriot; he seems to be failing big-time in both in his old age. Although, his patriotism turned to pacifism at the end of the war, I still respect his service to our country and will always give him his due in that respect.

There are probably more responses on Free Rep. then there were viewers of Tony and his senile comments. Why MSM give a senile old man air time is beyond me.
It’s obvious that TB didn’t rely on keen intelligence to get him where he is today...Either that or he’s lost whatever intelligence he may once have had to senility. Either one of these statements alone would make him an idiot. The two together make him a first class dunderhead.
