Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's military advisor Yahya Rahim Safavi warned Turkey that if it does not change its "erroneous" policy towards Iran, its standing in the region will suffer, the Iranian news agency Mehr reported.

According to the report, the top advisor said that if Anakara does not distance itself from its hostile attitude, which aims to please the US, "The Turkish people will turn against it, and Syria, Iran and Iraq will reexamine their ties with it."

To tell the truth, I neglected to see if this or something like it had been posted before. It seemed familiar. But regardless, Turkey’s getting another lesson about hitching its wagon to a star (sarcastic euphemism).

If Turkey was physically able it would be wise to distance themselves geographically from Iran. They are a parking lot waiting to happen

Erdogan went out of his way to alienate the US and EU, and Turkey’s regional ally Israel, in order to embrace Iran, Iraq, and Syria. That is a disaster.

We should start supporting Greece and the PPPK. Give them weapons to fight Iran, Syria and Turkey.

Tie them up in a war for a few years.

It would be interesting to see who Russia supports.

Turkey depends on Russian tourists, and sales into the Russian market. From an economic point of view, Turkey needs Russia more than Russia needs Turkey.

The US has been the foremost provider of humanitarian aid to Turkey in its past natural disasters like earthquakes. In fact I believe that it was a Turkish grandmother type that was quoted as asking where was the US aid just hours after a recent one.

This goes to show how quickly that gratitude curdles into resentment. Next time, let us see how much Iran contributes?

It’s a good policy to never lift a finger to help when natural disasters happen to the human disaster that is an Islamic society.

Turkey's the cork in the bottle. Ideally Islamofascism there can be turned back. If not, Turkey will have to be ejected from NATO. If not ejected from NATO, it will cease to be NATO.
