No only did she bail - she conned her followers in the worst way!
Between the bus tour, sarahpac, the movie, the youtube videos, the veiled promises of a campaign, etc, she led them on like teenagers in love.
How many Sun Tzu references did her followers foist on us for her non entrance into the debates?
How many insults and stalking OCD trolls did she have attacking everyone?
How much oxygen did she and her followers drain from this site?
They need to learn from this and move on.
I don't think she really ever had any intention to run, and I think she probably has too much personal baggage that she doesn't want to deal with on a national stage.
Srah Palin is a brand now, and it is much more lucrative for her to stay that way. Can't say I blame her either.

I don't get it. I can't think of a more un-conservative tendency, in the strict sense of the word. But then, "conservatism" isn't really all that conservative sometimes.
Palin is now relegated to Jersey Shore / Maury / Springer / Reality Show / VH1 / Celeb Star - status.
I know I was. I don't have anything against Palin, but she was never my choice. There were many here who out and out worshiped every move she made and every thing she said. It creeped me out to be honest, so I just stayed away.
The whole point of FR is to be able to discuss things with other conservatives. You could not even have a discussion about her, because many of the most rabid Palinistas were just waiting to attack anyone who questioned her.
If you think this is not a Bible issue, you are sadly mistaken. This country has wandered so far from the Founders dream, that we are begging for a King. The one we are going to get will be a really nice one the Progressives will love him at first, until their women start wearing Burkas.
This was irrational from the beginning. Thank God, it is over. I am sorry for all those who had so much emotionally invested in another flawed human being. There is no human worthy of that kind of blind worship.

Why did Sarah tell Bristol on 6-28-11 that she had made her decision, and then wait 3 months to announce it?
It is sufficient to say that he does not understand why she resigned from the govrernship.
I had the sense that Palin was very close to announcing that weekend in Iowa when, out of nowhere as far as she was concerned, Perry jumped in and took this gigantic lead.
I remember seeing her comment on that and saying he had personally told her he was not going to run and that he had not told her he’d changed his mind.
I think she was completely blindsided by that and it just derailed her. She kept nosing around for an opening, but none existed. So she exited the scene, finally.
I’m sorry to see people so bitter against her now. She must be somewhat surprised to see supporters turn on her on a dime.

That said, I do not blame people at all for being desperate for a real, honest person to step up to the fight. We certainly do need that.

Palin will not be chosen for Vice President in the next election because of what she said a fews days ago. She may be finished from running for any office for a short time. I am not saying that Sarah will never run again, but it will be a while if she does. May not be as big an office.
Zigler does have a few good points in his letter. A lot of attention she received lately is because she might run for office. Now, she is just another pundit and without as much power as she did earlier this summer. She alienated a lot of people.
