Sarah didn’t run because her priorities were God, family, then country. So I’m wondering, should we hope for a candidate who is principled and conservative, but doesn’t have a family to worry about? Almost everyone has a family. Or should we look for a candidate willing to put God, country, THEN family first in that order? What kind of a candidate pool does that leave us with? We could be in trouble.

Onyx, thank you—this was a fine interview.

I was wistful listening to it, thinking what might have been.

But I realize she is doing the mosdt important job—building on the success of 2010, and working to create a Conservative and Republican House AND Senate, which will give America a chance to turn the ship of state around.

I also realized that this was a recent decision, not one made weeks or months ago, as some very churlish Freepers last night and today insisted was actually the case, and it very much was family decision.

I’m also glad she squared with Bob and Mike on why she did not announce her decision on their show—she had oother folks to contact first and the story leaked out in our moment to moment news getting out ability, and she had to get ahead of the story.

Onyx, I so enjoyed being on your ping list. I’m sure there will be many more twists and turns in the 2012 election campaign. The “10.3” may yet happen, one never knows.

Just because she is not our political savior, does not mean things are hopeless. Sone of us never were looking for a single political figure to save us. The Tea Party moveemnt made great strides in 2010 and will continue its momentum in 2012.There is a good chance that we increase the majority in the House and take the Senate by a confortable margin. Further gains at the sate level are likely as well if the Dems keep imploding. Sure, we might not get the ideal person in the WH, but that will not stop the continuing reallignment.
