We do have to make sure we find more conservative legislators. That is priority number 1. As for president, long term campaign would probably still point to establishment, which means Romney. That means much more work for those who do not desire him as the nominee. I have thought for about 2 weeks the conservative fallback position may come down to Newt. I do not exactly relish that either, but he does have deep experience despite the ‘couch smooch’ with Nancy.
