RIP Steve Jobs..pancreatic cancer is one of the worst forms of cancer, once its found too late death is pretty much imminent

He was diagnosed with it in 2004 - lasted waaay longer than most [until 2011], although I do not know if he died directly from it.

However, I did see a pic of him a taken a few weeks ago and he did look like he was a short-timer ...

Thanks for the link.

“You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

I can't help but make an analogy between Jobs and Palin tonight, as we learned of these two losses. I think that the genius and drive for excellence they both exhibited should serve as an inspiration to all of us on FR to get behind a cause. The cause, saving our Republic is greater and transcends us mortals. Our conservative cause, needs more than ever, to be inspired and honor what they stand for, changing the world for a better future. Connect the dots...they made a roadmap for us to follow.

He is lucky to have lived as long as he did. Usually pancreatic cancer kills pretty quick, not sure about the kind that he had. Yes I saw the photo a few weeks ago too, some speculated it was fake but it looked legit to me. I lost my father to colon cancer in 1998 I know how cancer looks on a person towards the end. Very sad, he was a great man, made amazing products, he is a true tech genius. His work won’t be forgotten

Nah.

The 1971 Coke ad is more famous.

The Coke ad is famous in every country.

The Apple ad may have iconic status in the US and Canada, but to be honest, as a Scot/Brit, I can tell you that whilst we saw it, it has nowhere near the same level of fame or iconic status that the Coke ad did.

The Coke ad itself then add the song. Both are iconic and world famous.

Even if the Coke ad had stopped appearing on TV’s around the world in 1971-72, it would still be the most famous ad ever.

Steve was adopted in 1955. Since then more than 50 million women killed their promising babies, out of kindness I suppose. Ha! God knew each one and He had a plan for each and every one of these man murdered friends we never knew. The world is dreadful without them.
We were fortunate Steve’s mother had a soul.
