I won’t vote for Perry (after the “heartless” comment) and I won’t vote for Cain (after the racially tinged comments)

If I read every single comment by every single candidate and rejected anyone who ever said anything I didn't like, I would never have cast a vote in the last thirty years.

You are correct. There is NO perfect candidate. There will ALWAYS be something to disagree with. Sarah Palin was my personal number one. Cain is next. If I can agree with him a good 90% of the time, that is good.

I had a talk with my brother, a true conservative, and we went through the list of who’s left, rating them between ourselves. It’s Cain for us now.

A few days ago I had a conversation with my dad, who is an 86 year old Vietnam vet and retired Air Force guy, and he was telling me about this ‘guy’ he’d been hearing about, the ‘Godfather pizza man’. He told me he really, REALLY liked the man. I sent him toddling off to Youtube to do some research. He then agreed with me that if Sarah didn’t run, Cain was the route we’d go.

I’m disappointed Sarah isn’t running, but totally understand her reasoning. The media and the elite R’s have really done a number on her and, especially, her children. They would have really doubled down on their efforts to totally destroy this woman AND her kids. What we’ve seen up until now would seem like the calm before the storm. She can do much good for the country in other ways.

Go Cain!
