Take it for what you will...posted on Mark's page just now: BREAKING: GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN TELLS MARK LEVIN SHE IS NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.
I did notice that after the Sept 3 date passed, and the Sept 18th day passed they started posting “ ...if she decides“ ....where as before they were posting over and over “ Of course she is running, how can you miss it ? It's in EVERYTHING she has been doing. ”
well the more polite ones were.
Others said “FU PDS. You are just trying to get us to move to other candidates by saying she isnt running, I know what you are up to. It will not work. ”.
I have said many, many times, SP knew EXACTLY what she was doing, She was not stupid and she was not crazy.
We have men and women over in the middle east getting shot at every day...protecting and defending the constitution of the United States.
and guys still join the military..
I would think that would be harder to deal with than any personal attack. By comparison..I would think it would be a walk in the park. Thats why I question her courage.
Me too! Cain’s the man...with the plan!
“...something even bigger than her family.”
You were more gracious to me than some other PalinFRistas (who shall remain unnamed), for suggesting I thought she would decline to run. To be honest, my gut told me in November 2008 that she wouldn’t run in ‘12. That was my conclusion based on nothing but maternal instinct.
So, I DO buy that her decision was based on family. SP has three children still at home, the youngest of whom is only 3 years old and a Downs Syndrome child. He’s no longer the 4-6 month old infant of the ‘08 campaign. His needs are so much ore now,
There is no way any person, however gifted, can be POTUS, a 24/7/365 job, AND satisfactorily mother that family, especially Trig.
I’m delighted for her, personally, that she came to that conclusion. She’s still very young, will be very active, can speak out without interference of handlers or concern about how her every word would be perceived around the world. (and, yes, a POTUS does have to worry about that).
Having provided her public service for conservative causes and candidates, she can return to Wasilla to be with her family in their natural environment.
If she wants to run in 12 years, she’ll be far more seasoned than today and not torn between two conflicting sets of obligations. She got her priorities absolutely right IMO.
bump.
Please help us defeat Obama
even if it means voting for that creep Romney
- - - - -
That kind of attitude is not going to win.
Romney has way too much baggage to win, even against Zero and many of us will not vote for Romney.
The MSM want’s Romney because they have a whole lot of stuff to throw at him (like racism and flip flopping) and it will ensure a Obama re-election.
Why not get on board and help us elect a conservative??
I want to start a movementvto ban anyone sitting out in 2012 and handing the election to MaoBama.
If all she wanted was to make money (and be in the limelight) why didn’t she take the $10million offered by TLC to do another season of SP’s Alaska? When you can answer that then you can say she’s all about money. She helped get a lot of conservatives elected in the midterms. Even you should be able to appreciate that.

Her kids .... what mother willingly subjects her kids to these attacks? I don’t think I could.
Also, it’s my understanding that her parents were under protection because of death threats.
I'll take that prediction right along with all the predictions you made about Palin, how she would run, and how it was going to be the second coming of Jesus.
LMAO!!!
8^D
Do it for the children
- - - - -
You mean the children that are aborted in this country every day? The ones that Romney supports the killing of?
No thanks. I will never vote for that lying, flip-flopping socialist, gun grabbing, scumbag who thinks POTUS is just a stepping stone to godhood and that he is fulfilling prophecy.
I will not hold my nose and vote again, I did it for McCain and only because Palin was on the ticket. I don’t care WHO is on the ticket (even Cain or Palin) I will not vote for Romney. I know too much about him and his upbringing.
Well, I just signed on the internet tonight, and there it was as a headline on Yahoo news. I didn’t really want to sign on to any thread here because I knew it would be contentious, and I see I wasn’t wrong.
*sigh*
I am sad, but trust that Governor Palin is making the best decision for her family. The Lord knows I could not handle what has been done to her and her precious family. I also take great comfort in the fact that she places her complete trust in God. I believe she has been seeking His Will in her thought process the entire time. She sits in the palm of His Hand, where she has been before this all started, and as He has promised that He will never let go those that are truly His.
The Lord’s perfect Will will be done. I place my trust and faith in Him and Him alone.
That being said, I like Herman Cain and have been paying a lot more attention to him lately. I see his book in now in Amazon’s top 10. It seems a lot of people are now checking him out.
So, the Democrats now know that all they have to do is attack the children of a candidate and that will be victory ?
is that her legacy
the DNC and the media are winners tonight..
thats another reason it was important for her to run and win. to prove that those evil tactics didnt work. she just gave the Democrats more confidence to keep it up and do the same thing to others.
Republicans who are not conservative, not Constitutionalists, and have no courage to stand up and fight - who like to compromise, make nice and be friends with Dems - are worse than Dems.
BINGO! Anyone sitting it out in 2o12 needs to be banned. We need to get rid of Obama period.

The boss might have a different take on that statement.
Why can’t some of you get it, Romney IS Obama, just ‘white and delightsome’ (to use a common Mormon phrase). Romeny isn’t an improvement, just more of the same but with an (R) after his name and Romney WILL destroy the Republican party if he gets the nomination.
That is a very good point. I had forgotten that there were very few McCain supporters on FR back then. That's why I say, and tell FREEPERS, that too many of them live in a bubble. They think that everyone in this country thinks they way they do...and the way their FReeper buds do...and that just ain't the case.
McCain is case in point.
Cain will get my support likewise, but if you think that he equals Palin in ability to inspire or political courage, you couldn’t be more wrong. Cain has not faced what Palin has faced. He doesn’t have kids that are viciously attacked on a regular basis. My appraisal of your callousness was dead on. Cain doesn’t gain anything with your support in my eyes, nonetheless I’m all in for him now.
She wasn’t silent about McCain. She took him to task and loudly and publicly at her speech in Iowa.

Your right that Perry was not good in the debates so far and truly bungled the most recent one, but I do think many Palin supporters were so convinced she was running that they felt they were championing her cause by tearing down the other candidates. So I disagree with you that none of the candidates have lost anything by Palin dragging out this announcement.
I think some realism is going to begin setting in. We seem to have 3 candidates at the moment that are in contention - Romney, Perry and Cain. Romney is such a flip flopper that it is hard to tell what he is other than a power hungry politician. If he wins he'd be largely beholden to the Republican party, but we don't get a real conservative (unless he's been hiding how conservative he actually really is all along). Perry is mostly a conservative with a few glaring flaws. His biggest problem is he appears to be a poor communicator. Cain is a real conservative, but I think it won't be long before the electability issue sets in and people rethink supporting him. It's really time to rationally discuss Perry and Cain and maybe some of the others and see if we can prevent Romney from winning the nomination. The days of the Palin folks sitting on the sidelines taking shots at ALL the other candidates really ends now.
