Even in FEBRUARY 2008 there was only really two choices Mitt or McCain, Maybe if it had been Mitt we wouldn't have the Kenyan and we wouldn't be in as deep of trouble as we are. We still be in trouble mind you and more than likely we still have the Kenyan, but I think Mitt had a lot better chance beating him than McCain had.

So, he still didn’t have to come out and endorse anyone! Not anyone! He was not a governor, he was not a mayor, he had no reason to even bother with an endorsement unless he really wanted the guy to win. If he didn’t like any of the three he would have kept quiet.

Good! I know he continues to raise funds from pro-business people. He's going to need it, the trial lawyers and the unions are making real inroads.

That accounts for an awful lot of the viciousness that has been aimed against him. Texas is successful and it has tort reform (loser pays) and it's a right to work state.

No he could have just set around on his hands and let the Kenyan win. So tell me who was you for? Who did you support in 2008? Tells us or are you ashamed?

I'm not ashamed of anything. I refused to vote in the primary because I didn't like any of them, I would have left the presidential slot blank because I detest McCain, but I ended up voting for Sarah and that ugly wrinkled old man who was on the ticket with her.

I didn't go out and campaign for any of them, I didn't go out and endorse any of them, I sent campaign contributions to FreeRepublic instead.

Cain has supported Romney both BEFORE the nominee was chosen (obviously) and even today has said he could back him as a candidate but not Perry.

Gee, Perry has run a state for 10 years, brought it out of debt during a recession and even increased their "Rainy Day Fund", Romney ran his state into the ground with debt and chased business out of the state, saddled the people with crushing debt and Cain could support him?

Do you know how horrible a candidate McCain was? I just can believe a man of you impectable and high moral standards lowered yourself to vote for McCain. What is the world coming to?

How much you can raise is one of the most important factors for running for President. Perry didn’t even have the whole 3rd quarter to raise those kind of funds.

He was already the nominee! Cain endorsed BEFORE we had a nominee. I’m really not surprised that you don’t get the difference.

Yes, I have. Since, Perry didn’t have the full quarter to raise those funds, his campaign manager had him running around like a racehorse. They never let him prep for any of the debates!

I’m sure Cain misspoke on that. Surely, he would not support Obama if Perry were the nominee (God help us.). I’m sure he just would not be enthusiastic about working for his campaign.

I get the difference and what I am saying is he was most likely right. Not that Mitt would have been a good President just that Mitt had a better chance at beating ‘Zero’. I don’t understand why you just don’t get it. Cain pick one of of a bad lot of three with hope that they could stop Obama. Cain was way out in front saying what would happen if Obama won. I do understand why you don’t understand you try to pick the best of a bad lot and HOPE that they won.
