I saw the video. I don’t think he smeared Perry because I never got the impression that Perry is a racist even in that interview.
He called the use of that name for the ranch insensitive. THAT’s ALL.

I was out all day, at the football game and then post-game activities. I was just made aware of this less than an hour ago when I saw Cain's remarks on the local news.
I had a lot of respect for Herman Cain before today.
Sad to say, I don't think very well of him now.
I have not seen the video until you shown it. Over all I loved that video. I agree though he did over do it with Parry and the ‘rock’ but that isn’t enough to turn my back on him.
