YOu guys don’t live Christ’s teachings. You draw near to the Lord with your lips, but your hearts are far from him.

Sounds like an excellent venue for you to brush off your “better than thou” schtick.

They have no idea what Christianity and Bible teachings really are.

Glad you could weigh in Count....

So tell me, Count....what exactly does the Bible teach about mormonism?

BTW...you forgot to use the word..."bigot".

I am with you. A cult is a cult is a cult. Mormons are NOT
Christian though they claim to be saints of our Lord Jesus Christ. They do not believe that Jesus is the son of the living God. Rather than the Bible they have the Book of Mormon, as stated above. Like the Muslims have the Koran. The two religions are closely aligned in many ways, separated only by the degree of violent persuasion.

God loves these badly misguided people.
But, as Mormons, they definitely shoud not be the leaders of a country!

Pray for these people to wake up before it is too late.

I’m just trying to defend from these ignorant attacks that seem to come up alot by Freepers.. people who I would often agree with on many conservative principles.

THere are good things in other religions, probably much good in yours(whatever that is), but it’s my testimony to you that the Bible alone does not contain the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You probably haven’t read the Book of Mormon. If you have, you have read it the way DUers read articles about conservative principles.

No religion that denies the Book of Mormon can be true. Jesus Christ brought forth this book. You are rejecting something you don’t understand.

Wait? You don’t know the answer to this?

LDS is the superior and perfect religion.

That’s what I was told.

D:
You did notice the use of the word “testimony”?

Must be a holy truth...

Rather than the Bible they have the Book of Mormon, as stated above. Like the Muslims have the Koran.

Aye, a direct revelation without an original writings, that is one similarity.

Others:

Ablutions before Temple ceremonies,
Blood oath (no longer used) "may I be cut from ear to ear",
"Moon Stones" in the Temple architecture.

In short: a North Americanization of Islam.

Apparently you do not know either...

“..but it’s my testimony to you that the Bible alone does not contain the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Your testimony and a dollar might buy a cup of joe at McDonalds, but it doesn’t validate Joe Smith in the least.

The book of mormon contradicts the Bible, so there ain’t no fullness there.

If you want to specifically point out exactly what the added “Fullness” is and exactly where it is revealed,
feel free to post.

Of course, your claim so far has no facts, evidence or logic and is just a wild claim.

Okay, I have this mental image of Elder David Naughton dancing around town singing “I’m a Mormon, he’s a Mormon, she’s a Mormon, we’re a Mormon, wouldn’t you like to be a Mormon too?”...is that wrong?
