“The Washington Post story revealing that Texas Governor Rick Perry hunted and hosted lawmakers at a hunting camp called Niggerhead is alarming and displays a new height in racial insensitivity in national politics. Mr. Perry should immediately fully explain how he could have gone to a ranch and hunted that is named after such an obvious racist term or he should withdrawl from the race. He is either blindly insensitive or hopelessly unaware of where he spends his time. Cain keep up the truth on Perry!!!!! You are doing a super job. Cain 2012. Bachmann/Cain 2012. Palin/Santorum 2012. So many possibilities. We are NOT taking a RINO this year Cincinatus’ Wife no matter how much you want one. You got your RINO candidate in 2008.....It is our turn this time and we are not settling for less than a true conservative. The only options are: Palin, Santorum, Bachmann, or Cain. I’m not exactly sending Valentines to Rick Perry, but good grief when folks hurl these sensational allegations about him they ought to be conscious of the time line. This appears to be from Perry’s Democrat days at a private family hunting camp called Niggerhead, probably from some geographical feature of dark rock. However it got its name, it’s not called Niggerhead any more; it’s now Paint Creek. I think this says a lot more about Democrat racial views than Perry’s own.
You’d think whoever owns that place would change the name.

I may not be a Perry supporter, but this story has all the telltale signs of a deliberate attack against a Republican candidate by some scurrilous enemy.
Sadly, it appears that Herman Cain (another Republican candidate) went and got himself embroiled in it before all the facts were known.
